    In the interactions (on WBAYDN) I had with him, he always seemed like a man who was big on family, so maybe he'd also enjoy my kids sampling a flight of flavored sparkling waters (of course using mom and dad's home-made bourbon barrel stave flight sets). I wonder where they learned this behavior?

    Thanks for sharing so much about your dad.

    One question I have, being retired military myself, was what branch of service did your dad serve in (I thought Navy but your tale sounds like he was Army). And how long did he serve? Did he retire from the military??

    I tried to convince the kids they should write down notes, but that was a hard no. They had good thoughts, though. "This one is more bubbly, but this one has a really strong lemon flavor!"

    Band of Brothers is rather outstanding I remember. Some parts are here in NL. Realistic in a historical way too, as far as you can get to that.
