6am shift over. Supposed to work 9-5 both Sundays this week. Resisted the urge to buy a delta 8 vape on break. I think I hate this job more than i like weed and that tells you all you need to know

A cross post from the Maibook thread.

    Maibock/Bock #6:

Finally set for another day of testing. Picked up 4 more to try today. Yesterday was mainly local small brew Maibocks (other than VITUS). Today I go old school. I mean, when your brewery started in 1589 you know how to make it.

Here is my first HB Maibock. A slightly darker golden caramel color than the local ones. This is a very popular beer around here so I won't go any further (other than, it is really good).

So Glitchin right now thx to @SawDog505. Just a little tailgaiting before a group of us head to a friend's house to hang in the hot tub and throw a few craft back.

How do your nights go after such wonderful mornings? I'm genuinely curious you seem to be here mostly on weekends and go a bit crazy. The amount of beer you've had already would leave me with a migraine in a few hours most likely. I want to know your secret. Is it your Wisconsin genes?

Nice! We are still debating getting tickets for the Philly show, tickets are a little cheaper than I thought.

Hope you're all having a great afternoon! Here's a cross-post from the Bock tasting thread-

We're having a gorgeous Spring day and I'm trying to get some yard work done, but I think it's a good time for a beer and snack

Industrial Arts Spring Landscape, a helles bock.

This is a perfect example of not going the traditional route yet also brewing up a fantastic beer. The hops are featured prominently but don't overrun the base of rustic crusty bread; there's a definite grapefruit peel and mint element to them, but it ties in extremely well with a rye-type spiciness that could either be from grain or hops. That's the beauty to me, just how seamless and harmonious these flavors are even for an aggressive beer.

The finish is also nicely crisp and bitter, but not overly so, and it's actually drinking more like a hefty Pilsner than a bock. Which is to say, my next one will be a pitcher, please. Really delicious stuff!
