Thanks @jzeilinger for this savory sauce.
Scale of Complexity from 4 Hands.
Bale Breaker new release... "Clarity Rarity #5". Fantastic stuff, with Talus, Mosaic and Citra. I think the name is a reference to the unique nature of this beer. It is very hoppy, almost a wet-hop quality, and is unfiltered to say the least. They have it labeled as a hazy but it's not in the NE Style for sure. The haze comes from the unfilteredness. Pairs well with the cedar-plank grilled king salmon.
Notch Kölsch, cheers!
Got my yard work done, very thirsty. Had to drop by my local brewery for my favorite beer they make...Yonah Live Once Vienna Lager. They made it even better by dropping the ABV to a sessionable 4.7%! This brewery is rocking. Check out the line in the line in the background at 3:30 on a Saturday when most folks are at Lake Lanier. These are excellent brews!
Old Mil! I don't think I've had one of those since college. Brings back great memories! Cheers!
At Firefly Brewing in Bristol Connecticut. Wife has their American pilsner I have their classic cone pics IPA
This year's Green Bay, WI, collaboration beer is quite tropical! It is delicious on a hot day! Speaking of locals only, why do these Miami Heat players from Milwaukee, WI, always seem to dominate the Milwaukee Bucks?
Lone Pine Brewing Company
I’m starting to love this beer for a daily drinker with my bourbon - I bought a 12 pack for $18.49 yesterday, which imho can’t be beat for such a great ipa - maybe it’s all the oats I love, being a Cheerios afficianado - idk .)
Anyways it’s an outstanding beer from Dogfish Head !!
Short, violent thunderstorm just blew through...no damage to our property but plenty of water...
Russian River Brewing Co. -- Row 2 Hill 56 (pale ale with 100% Simcoe)

@Nugganooch De Struise Brouwers & De Molen collab. was € 5,90 (that's just somewhat more or less the same in US $).
Nice choice - CHEERS
Close game, hot day!
Lawn mowed and some miscellaneous chores accomplished, relaxing with a beer before I embark on making a pizza for dinner.
The very reason I learned to smoke meat. Cheers.
It's hot outside, advocates. Drinking a nice pils from Lawson's Finest. Cheers!
Well now you are just bragging I see it all balances out with those EQ prices tho!
Good afternoon, BAs! Normally I dedicate most of my weekend drinking to the New Beer Weekend thread, but my entire body has been off for a couple of days, so I'm going with something familiar - at least for now.
Maine Beer Co. Lunch
Switched from golf back to watch the end of the lax quarterfinal game that will determine our next opponent. Close one.
Also decided to have another of the BenchTop kvass* I tried out yesterday.
*it could just as easily be a Czech pilsner to me, though the brewery had a foeder-aged one of those available as well.
Nice looking Salmon, Cheers.
Dig this one.
Got a few beers in the 'Fortress of Solitude' beer fridge that are way past their prime...
Melvin Brewing / Thai Me Up -- The Dry Hopper's Guide To The Galaxy (imperial IPA - pkgd 08/4/20)
Opalescent Tree Shark from Cloudburst
I want to include a recording of You've Got It All or 6 Pak Annie from little midwestern ska band O'Phil, but I can't find one. I think they disbanded last year, anyway, which is too bad.
A shout out to my compadres @DrStiffington and @DEdesings57 as I join them in drinking Woah Nelly for the first time in 5 years. The last time I had it was on draught in the small, sweaty, raucous Magnify tasting room (sadly, still closed due to COVID) and I realized today I never properly reviewed it. So I just did so on the NBW thread. Happy to see it brewed again for Mag's 6th Anniversary. I hope Magnify brews some of the other "Woah" IPAs, which I really enjoyed. Cheers, everyone!
Yes! Milwaukee Bucks!
Trial by wombat from Thin Man
At one of my favorite dive bars drinking a SNPA paired with Carolina BBQ tots and a Hawaiian Dog...

Rogue Ales -- Hazelnut Brown Nectar (brown ale)
4.14/5 rDev +1.2%
look: 4 | smell: 4.25 | taste: 4.25 | feel: 3.75 | overall: 4
Slightly cloudy brown body; fairly thick and dense light khaki hued head. Warm beer wort smell; roasted grain and nutty. Sweet and nutty flavor with a nice touch of vanilla; hazelnut; mild to moderate bitterness. Medium body; a bit of residual sugar feel yet also a tad watery overall; semi-sweet feel throughout.
A very nice brown ale overall that combines some nice hazelnut elements to the overall taste and aroma.
Served at 53° F and "CANNED ON 05/20/20".
...and since I just love this Larry Coryell tune, a repeat from only a few days ago...
...plus something a bit different...
Forgot to post last night, but I can’t resist posting this one….delicious!
