It does what it is told...
Great lakes mexican lager with leftover Italian food
Apps came and we were too late for entrees
Awesome blood orange ipa with rum barrel. Juicy as the regular blood hound ipa with added rum, oak, sugar. Minimal warmth/booze. Very drinkable.
Back home, was incredibly warm out there. Now for beers, Elk Valley Matching Mullets, APA with Grapefruit, Blood Orange & Habaneros
Just did my second post ever on the New Beer Weekend thread.
Grimm Brothers- 3 Golden Hairs a very nice subtle Colorado Pilsner.

DOS EQUIS verde con limon
Mrs. Hiwattowner was out for a bit this evening so I took the opportunity to turn up a bit. A Deluxe Reverb turned up warms my soul.
But, not all volumes can be sustained. Especially when Mrs. Hiwattowner returns from her errand. But fortunately I have more Jack’s Abby.
Now doing the tricky planning of some reconfiguring. Removing a few pedals from this board. The Mesa is coming off. It truly is Boogie distortion in a pedal, but the volume output is unmanageable. The trickier item is the Deluxe Memory Man. I love it, but the power needs and real estate space is large. Planning for some travel with this board and may need to remove to get two other pedals on this thing. Decisions. Decisions.
In the meantime, this song has been running through my head the last two days. Not that I am complaining.
What a scene.
Happy Anniversary to you and the Mrs.!
Congrats! Looks like a fun night...
Amazing as with the base beer. Rich milk chocolate, perfect barrel integration, lightly tart cherries with light dark fruit from the base beer. Mild increasing warmth and booze of barrel. Wonderful. 4.3
Damn, that puts the Deluxe in Reverb!
Home from post town meeting, event with neighbors.
A Saurons Nightlight is pitch perfect on this cool summer night
Youll be fine. You have your whole life ahead to do whatever is best for you. When you started posting less - I mean less than like 12 beers a day- that was your first step in the right direction. As far as the job situation just stay the course. This is a common occurence right now. I have 40 yrs exp in restaurants/hospitality as a chef, cook, f and b mngr, really every aspect of that business and I still had a very difficult time finding anything really worthy of what I feel I have to offer. Still dont. You will get something. Just stay positive and keep in mind you have alot to offer and believe that. Cheers and best wishes
Beer! And poison ivy...so much poison ivy...
Might be a night of Pilsners. Can't believe getting up at 6am would have a benefit. It allowed me to turn on a whole house fan and cool down to 64 by 8am. Air con has not been needed today, yea!
Another of my likes is Bell's - Lager of the Lakes
Modern day problems....why they call 2x4's or 2x2 's that when thats not what the actual dimensions are...yet make a bracket that IS the actual dimension....

Family Screwball shots with my girls....Pernicious.....
Poison Ivy is out of control this year. I may get a few goats to clear my yard. I hear they eat that as well as everything else.
@superspak Dude, you’re Superspak. You can do it! You have a seemingly great woman on your side now. You’re self aware of any problematic demons. You’re a scrapper. You eat some crazy sh!t that would put most anyone’s cholesterol through the roof and still come back for more. You keep humpin’! One day, the stars will align and things will go the way you want / need. I’ve been there. Rough days, hard times, and despair so deep I didn’t know if I could make it. We got through. One day at a time. I’m sure this BA band of heathens, as some would call us, support you 100% while you go through the muck.
Reminds me of soooo many trips to the VT house, arrive and begin mowing, drink Otter Creek Copper Ale, keep mowing. Sunday morning a bit of trimming and more Copper Ale.
Eventually the place looked well kept, for the remainder of our time there.
Tree House Peach Tart. Drinking it from the can like label suggests.
Going old school tonight. I've always said this is the best "mass produced" beer out there
very tasty good match...
