Started with a station 26 craft lager, shifted to a prost raddler and finished with a prost pilsner. It was a good day...

I don’t understand your measurements. My mind more thinks in 1x12, 2x12 and 4x12.

    Just joking.

    (512) Brewing Company is a recent addition to our area. So far, they're two for two that I've tried.

Their Juicy IPA is as good as their Black IPA was.

2021 parabola. This is my 3rd or 4th bottle this year. I’ve been taking some time away from beer or only having it sporadically this year, as I’ll occasionally do. Rotating around to good whiskey, tequila, red wine. In doing so my beer palate has reset to some extent and drinking a beer like this puts in stark relief how horrendous contemporary stout brewing has gotten (massive generalization I know). This will likely strike many as overly lean and barrel forward, hoppy and dry, but getting some distance makes plain to me this is as incredible as we all thought it was years ago, and how much saccharine underattenuated sludgy garage there is flooding the market now, often coming from otherwise excellent breweries. Old man rant over.

Ps I see @russpowell drinking a prairie stout right above me. Not them! They have the candified sweet stouts down to an art. Don’t love them all (haven’t had them all) but stuff like bourbon paradise is phenomenally good. Love the barrel presence and alcohol burn cutting through all that residual sugar.

Ian, coming to grips with the past is important but the past doesn't have to determine the present or the future. You can make any future you want. Be positive and trust yourself and your talents! It may be a cliché to say that tomorrow is the first day of the rest of your life but it's literally true. Wishing you the best!

I have not. Pretty good? Most of the stores around here are severely lacking in that dept. When I see any of those in cans I grab them immediately- unless it looks old and not dated. My latest was Radeberger Pilsner Zwickelbier. Found a sixer. Really nice brew for low $

It was $7.99 for 4 of the 500 ml cans. On my second 4 pack. Date on the bottom of the can is 12-17-21, so I am guessing it was canned 12-17-20. Yes, I recommend it. I would drink it over Carlsberg, Paulaner Pils, Wernesgruner Pils. I have been looking for the R-P-Z, but all I find is the Radeberger Weiss.

Milo's Phoenix. This is the DDH version. I think this is my beer of the year so far. Aroma is huge in your face. Overripe tropical fruit, pear, citrus, pure cannabis, berries, onion/garlic, diesel. Taste follows with a nice tang of citrus. It wants to get to fruit cocktail, but adds a nice bitter pith just short.
Nice tiny carb throughout to keep it from getting thick. Dry finish. The base beer is awesome but its really unique when DDH. I can see it being a love it or hate it brew but I love it.[IMG]
