Drinking an old Permutation Series: Number 63 wild ale from Trillium right now. Really nice, lightly tart, subtle funkiness, green tea leaf, lemon verbena, refreshing citrus, and biscuity malts round it out, pretty tasty stuff. Bout to pair with an everything bagel. Cheers everyone!

 

I am drinking a DDH Hazy DIPA from Rusty Rail....celebrating my son's resigning with the Columbus Mavericks...

 

After weed whacking, mowing and spraying a lot of poison ivy/poison oak I worked up a thirst. This is a surprisingly refreshing beer. A tropical wheat beer brewed by New Belgium.

I power washed my house today, my knees feel like they are fused into open position. I went up and down a ladder at least 100 times it seemed. I broke my personal best, I made it up 24 ft. I don’t do well over 10 ft.

You are correct. A few beers and then cheap white wine. You are too much like me. My condolences.

 

Tripping Animals Brewing Ever Haze, out of Doral FL. My first time with this brewery, it's pretty good, not blowing me away but I'll give a few of there other beers a chance too.


Speakin about tripping......

 

Getting the salmon cooked and poured a Tröegs brewery only ale, Peach Apricot Shabang. 7.5% ABV with a milk sugar sweetness. Cheers!

Drekker Black Currant Plum Cobbler Slang Du Jour Sour à la Mode, 7.7% ABV. Pours gloppy thick and maroon with a slight pink head. Nose is vaguely sweet fruit. Taste is more tart than sweet, with a mashup of black current and dark fruit/plum, brown sugar, cinnamon, and vanilla. Couldn't pick up much granola, which is a shame. Excellent mouthfeel, overall excellent. Not my favorite variant.
