    I would really like to try Double Agent as well, although it might take a year or so for the Swedish alcohol monopoly to launch an IPL. On the other hand I really enjoy German pilsners in particular and pale lager beers in general (as long as they are dry and have a balancing bitterness). It's not the hop flavor that I'm missing in Noble Pils, the bitterness is there and the citrusy hops are there, albeit mild. It's simply too sweet and too un-clean maltwise for it to approach a well-made German pilsner.

    A rainy and dreary Labor Day in PA, but I'm not working, the kids are napping, and I have a ridiculously fresh 90 minute IPA in my glass. Cheers!

    I DVR'd the Micigan Wolverines football game on Saturday with the intention of grilling up some burgers and watching the game today, but I ended up having to pan fry the burgers on the stovetop due to the weather. It's not quite the same but what can you do.
