Love all that stuff, huge fan of menudo even. Worked in South Korea for a bit, order a fried rice and seafood dish. It was literally moving, as they used octopus tentacle among other things, and the nerves were still firing, as it was basically just cut from a live octopus and made it all move

Fried Rocky Mountain Oysters never did a lot for me though, the only times I have had it just tasted like deep fried batter with some chewy meat. Really not much different than fried calamari as far as I'm concerned. I have had squid steaks in Chile that were to die for, without being fried or gussied up, can't say I would be able to say the same for non fried Rock Mountains though, unless you could make a menudo type soup of it

Ive done marinated squid steaks on a few of my menus as well as stuffed tubes. Fried Ring and tentacle with hot peppers and a side of marinara is on virtually every menu in these parts and sells like fkn crazy. Is it my bag? Not really but you have to do what appeals to the masses. Agree on the RMO as well. You should always order those on a first date and not tell her what they are until she eats and says she loves them......

 

AND....they add a 10% gratuity to the bill due to covid. ( specifically states not for employees) holy shit. Absolutely outrageous!

 

Stuck with the Hacker Pschorr all day today - finisher now...
