Laundry list of revisit reviews tonight:

Nice Pils as expected. Very well balanced with a moderate amount of earthy hops. Smooth and crisp.

Very nice Imperial pumpkin ale. Very malt driven with moderate spices behind the malts, with nice complexity. Zero cloying and very smooth sipping.

This is straight up fantastic. Got this in OH and I know it was released recently. Huge dark chocolate/roast/coffee/char with grapefruit/orange/pine hops. Feels like a super robust black IPA and I love it.

Cheers to Alesmith for dating bottles now. This is fucking amazing. Huge citrus/pineapple/pine hops with light-moderate bread/light caramel malts. Super crisp and dry with ZERO cloying bitterness. Insane.

Corsendonk is reliable as most Belgians for good brews. Great Tripel as expected. I'd still place Xmas and Pater above this, but it's damn good.

    Cheers

Most disappointing, weird, and awful beer I've had in recent memory. If I could go back in time 5 minutes I wouldn't have opened it and used it to trade. Fucking awful.

been lazy on making dinner tonight. perusing LNBA now, and i find myself to be... very... jealous.

myself, i'm still hitting this BA bigfoot hard (though probably finish the stopper'd bottle tomorrow). watching US open replays aimlessly, playing super mario bros crossover, and thinking about what to lazily put on the bread i'll be having for dinner (right now mustard and smoked cinnamon is in the lead of my thoughts... ajvar also in the running).

I'm introducing myself to Creme Brulee for the very first time tonight. Apparently some have found it too sweet. Let's see what I think...

trade for it. it sits on shelves because of the price ($16~ per 375ml in CT, about $20~$30 here in lolmanhattan), but it's usually the best beer on said shelves. truly amazing, just perfect.

if you have anything that doesn't hit NE distro, you can get someone off their ass to go pick up one of these bottles and send it for $15~ worth of beer.

yeah, as with many DFH beers, underrated. i guess the raspberry + deep barleywine is too weird for a lot of people (and i don't really blame them)... but me, i thought it was a very nice beer.

Loved that beer fresh, but felt like the mint fell off kind after about 6 months. Glad to hear that it's tasting good still

FFF Gorch Fock - not bad, not impressive, but a decent brew for a warm summer night.

If it fell off, i am happy i held on to it for this long. To me, any more mint would be too much.

Trying out BigLeaf Maple. Like all beers with maple it could use more of that in it. Also, I'm not high at all.

Not sure if you get Hinterland out in your neck of the woods, but they've got a pretty decent Maple Bock. Actually kinda looking forward to its release now that you brought up maple beer!

With all the business travel that I do, why didn't I think of that?????

(Just keep those can heads above the water line, no tellin' what was in that receptacle.) If you follow that advice, I revert to my initial comment...
