Decided to take the day off and surprise Mrs. 3786 when she comes home tomorrow by unpacking the garage. It's the last place we need to unpack since we moved in June. But then she saw me on a camera and called to ask why I wasn't at work. . Oh well, she's very happy and it was still a surprise....

Visiting a friend in PDX. This is different beer #9999 which means the next beer today is 10k! This one would have been worthy, amazing depth

After my 10 mile, tempo run with a progressive split (ouch), this is all I get (for now).
Buddies coming over later for a little backyard biergarten social hour.

It's already hot & humid in the Philly burbs. Bless the guy who invented air conditioning. I'm having a Cigar City Frost Proof. It's a Belgian Style White Ale Brewed with coriander and orange peel. It's a solid beer, but not one I'll seek out. Strong coriander, muted orange peel and a strong wheat backbone. I rated it 3.75.

 

Went fishing last night and this morning forgot phone so no pics but plenty of beer almost fell into the ocean, but we caught 6 red drummers or puppy drummers


We made sashimi last night and fish soup with the head and spine.

Now drinking

Nice VABA. I'm off to S. Carolina in 3 weeks to visit my ex-boss. Going to do some surf fishing. I've never fished salt water before.
