Still enjoying the fruits of my dad’s labor with his trip to DFH last week.

2013 120 Minute. My old man is having the other one. This is insanely complex, yet still drinkable. Awesome stuff. Glad I’m not driving today for a change

    cheers!

Working on my 3rd atm. First time trying any Flensburger. I really like this pilsner, has everything you want in a Pils and pours nicely. Prost! :beers:

So are you predicting a Red Sox run? And if so, is it because they're currently wearing pastel versions of the Brewers' 1980s color scheme?

Either way, I hope it works out that said Boston team is taking on an NL team in late October. Time to check out another green-colored Lawson's Finest Beverage beer that I really enjoyed on vacation:

I think it was the fact that it wasn't a ubiquitous IPA that had me enjoying it so much on vacation. I do like Scrag Mountain Pils, but just not as I recall from my first couple cans.

My two NCAAF teams have tough opponents worth watching this week, and of course they are scheduled for the exact same time. Hopefully one will start dominating by 8pm so I can focus on the other game. There's likely no chance of that, although the feared reverse result may drive less hitting of the "last channel" button on the remote.

The GF says she's happy you mood is foul after the Nebraska game, @russpowell. Actually, she almost couldn't care less - and actually has fun reading the Nebraska fans dismay after a loss (somewhat sadistic, no?). I would agree that they do seem to be performing a little better this year than in recent memory, from what I have gathered from my tangential interest.

You copied the link to the imgur page (i.e. with all the content around the image). If you are on a computer, you can hover on the photo and then choose the ellipse button and then "select share links" and choose BBCode to paste directly into post.

If on phone, you will likely have to hold the image itself until a popup gives you the option to copy [link]. Then you will have to use the icon next to the emoji (mountain) and paste the URL into the resulting pop-up modal. The URL should have an image extension on it (.jpg, .png, etc). Harder to explain than to do, but it does take a slight amount of effort.

9/10/21 canning. Hidden springs zero fucks given. Great zero ibu pale. Citra, mosaic, motueka hops. Very juicy citrus, tropical, berry. Light herbal and pine bitterness. Nicely soft wheat malt backbone. No complaints. 4

@Danmullens1 is experiencing paradise closer to this brewery than usual. I very much love this beer, from one of Wisconsin's OG craft breweries. @BEERMILER12 knows what is up. We are a ways from this week's emotional sunset piece, and I don't know if I can make it. I might lay on my yard, @miwestcoaster, and not wake up until late at night. This new video is quite enticing, @Roguer, but it is just perfect for relaxing with a beer. It is the type of band that I discussed heavily when I was at Inferno heavy metal bar in Helsinki, Finland. @superspak and @JamFuel, please add your thoughts as well.

I don't buy IPAs from Icarus Brewing because they typically disappoint me. On the other hand, their Stouts are outstanding. A beer buddy gave me this can of Dare to be Stupid, which I had to drink for its name alone. It's described as a "West Coast IPA" but it's similar to a lot of the IPAs brewed in the southeast: malty and bitter without overt citrus. I happen to like this "sub-variant". This is pretty tasty. We're off to dinner where I'll be indulging in wine for awhile. Cheers!

LOL I saw the new Insomnium video thumbnail yesterday, and didn't click on it because of it. I love that band, though, so I went back and listened to some of their older music.

...this is a fine, rustic lager for the season...malty with a perfect touch of temperate hop bitterness and easy to quaff...and, no @Todd, I didn't sing along with 'Take Me Home Country Roads', but I enthusiastically hummed along...and no lederhosen to wear...just be glad a I self-nixed my original bizarro idea of taking a video of sporting an improvised leather loin cloth while howling along with Toots and the Maytals...but it's still early in the day...:stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:...prost!!!

Duneyrr Hazy Et Blanc DIPA (co-fermented with Sauvignon Blanc grape must and brewed with phantasm powder, Citra, Hallertau Blanc, and Nelson Sauvin). A new brewery to the Chicagoland area started by two people from Lagunitas that are focusing on wild ales and beer-wine hybrids. They’ve also started a brewery that focuses on regular lager and IPA called Moderne Dune.
If this one is any indication, these guys will do just fine. Like a poor man’s Trillium Dialed In. A white grape bomb.

Irish whiskey and fruited sours are not the best mix. Especially if you throw a cigar in as well. Oh well.
