    Got a lot done on my garage addition today. I'm in the trim mode now. 7 hours is enough time for a beer.

    Ran out of Prima Pils so went to the store to get more and lo and behold, they were out of it too. This is my runner-up go to Pils and hitting the spot perfectly!

    Steep price tag, but couldn't say "no" to this one!

    Prost! :nerd::beers: !!

    I use USPS whenever I can. If you can fit it in a Medium or Large Priority Flat Rate Box the price can't be beat. Even when I don't use flat rate I will weigh and check the USPS price first, if it's too much then I go FedEx. Also, I always use Pirateship to prepay for any USPS shipments as it will give you a built-in bulk discount. YMMV

    New seasonal from Fat Heads - Hop Marauder. 8% and 80 IBUs, an IPA hopped with chinook and citra. Danky and hoppy, this one will be a nice counterbalance to Hop Juju. Cheers!

    Reviews over at the NBW thread. At Southern Yankee's Crafhouse. A new bar and restaurant that is essentially the "tied house" for the Southern Yankee Brewery that is way up in north Houston. i haven't been able to make it to that brewery, and glad they opened this spot for all the "inside the loopers" like me ha.

    Paramount Pils, 4.5% AB and the pear and blue cheese pizza. Great Pils that showcases Noble Hops perfectly, and great pizza.

    Work Like a Captain West Coast IPA, 6.1% ABV, a decent and enjoyable, though standard IPA.

    And Brewer's Lemonade Berliner Weisse, 4.1% ABV. This is an excellent straight forward Berliner, the kind that I don't really see a lot of anymore. As there are no fruit or sugar, or anything like that added. Very traditional and spot on.

    Love the beers, food, and vibe here. Will definitely be back soon.

    Need to catch up on the thread, but chiming in while I still have half a glass left of this beer I reviewed for the New Beer Weekend Thread.

    Revolution Lucky-Hero
    [IMG]

    Full review here, bottom line this is a typical balanced and well crafted IPA by Revolution, please keep them coming!

    Was awake for at least portions of Saturday Morning Flashback, but was catching up on Beer Advocate tunes (also, keep them coming!). Here are the first two solid tunes I came across from the playlist, a dual 1996-1997 presentation.

    Disappointed to see Liverpool drop points at Brentford, but it was a thoroughly entertaining match. Decided to indulge a bit with a bottle of Prop.

    Cherries are there in the nose but the flavor is all chocolate and barrel. Suggestion of nuttiness but not getting much from the pistachios overall. Really tasty stuff, but wondering if it would have been better fresh. Cheers.

    Ballast point Calico. First time trying this its so good fresh on tap. Doesn't taste like an Amber. Tastes like a dry hopped red ale maybe. Pretty unique. I don't think I've had anything similar. I like it. Should have tried it sooner. I'm loving the dry hop flavor in this.

    I have always liked using UPS. Have yet to lose or have a damaged package.
