    Happy Friday Advocates and thanks there @Ozzylizard for crankin' up the thread today. Such a eye-popping beautiful beerscape in my back yard today that not having a Schlenkerla Rauchbier would be utterly silly. ****oo like a cocoa puff. So Marzen it is my friends and WOW is it great.
    Cheers! Happy Oktober! Keep on smiling!

    Drinking Veltins Pilsener. @DavetotheB The Germans generally like to spell it Pilsener
    to differentiate their beer from the Czechs who spell it Pilsner, but that's not a hard and fast rule

    Our wood stove is our secondary source, but once it gets cold we have a fire almost every night.
    Right now we have more stacked than usual. There are a couple easy places to cut in the Hills and we're taking advantage of them.... :beers:

    Just down the street from District Brew Yards is All Rise Brewing. Funky setup. Old bar back in a new addition to an old school lounge. I had a couple samples of the Gayle Sayers, hazy double, not my thing, but enjoyable. The Crombies is a nice bitter IPA. Black Star is their seasonal marzen, in full.
    Pretty chill place early on a Friday. I could get lost here for a few days

    Cortez is a standard for guitar solo freedom and there are a billion versions out there, but I am partial to Anders Osborne and Warren Haynes to boot!

    @LesDewitt4beer Cheers!

    Got four cords to stack myself this weekend. I think a Kolsch is just the thing to have by my side.

    Hofbräu Oktoberfestbier. Lovely bready, malty flavor with light honey-flavored sweetness, a very delicious beer. Aroma is bready and also a bit hoppy, balancing the flavor of this lager.

    its ABV belies its easy drinking nature. I love this beer. Prost!

    Too many BCBS on-site options, but I can't pull the trigger on a double barrel for $70 solo.

    Every so often, you are thirsty when you get home so you grab something a little lighter because you know it’s going down fast…

    I really liked Scrag Mountain Pils when in VT, but I think the non-IPA change of pace was partially to blame. It’s a good beverage, but my skirt is sitting firmly against my knees today.
