Impulse ABC A-32...
Pretty good work day. Took a nap after work and had food lion burgers and food lion frozen french fries in the air fryer for dinner. A good meal. I think I need to get hamburger helper next time I go shopping, been ages since I had any. I am going to Holden Beach this weekend. Glad I can afford to do that now and not have all my money being wasted.
10-17-2018 canning. It is tasting amazing and there is a decent amount of smoked coffee flavor. Molasses, dark chocolate and light raisins. Velvety and mildly warming finish. Top class stout.
I like a stone patio, especially if there’s a fire pit involved. Also, even a simple 4-post shelter that can be screened in. We live out in the almost woods, and my wife can’t enjoy the bliss unless she’s screened away from bugs. My latest project actually was a screened in gazebo kit for whenever we can get someone to move the hot tub up this monster hill. Plus, if it’s raining or snowing, you can still enjoy the patio with a covered shelter. My two cents. Your miles might vary!
Ha cool, then I don't abuse that, just skirt the line
I hear ya, but.... 4" so far.
Get ice and cooler. Keep it handy.
Good luck on the surgery & recovery.
To last (temporarily ) beers!
This finally showed up in something other than crowler(ish)-sized cans . Yay!
Yes…Hamburger Helper! It’s been years, but it used to be a staple when we were raising the kids. Now I want some dammit! Didn’t they have a cheesy version, too?
Yes and one for a can of tuna.
I’m in western NY, and we couldn’t get any. Did they make any new batches?
Finally settling in for a beer. Great Lakes Nosferatu Imperial Red IPA. Cheers!
Nope. A 6 oz. Pour. More than enough, it wasnt that good.
Finishing that BBA Ten Fidy stovepipe. The alcohol bite took a turn to mellow and the baker’s chocolate is really coming to the fore-front. The wood also calms down and takes up the back of the sip. Still excellent after 5 years! It did not turn into a muddy fudge monster like the other stovepipe I had…last year maybe.
What The Kids Want
So why do I appreciate Bob Dylan…. For example this throw away song, never released until the latest bootleg series,,,, my point of view is this a song retelling the passion of Christ in film noir language, I could go on but….. Dude is brilliant
Alas, your profile pic is a brilliant record that should be checked out
Fantastic album! There's so much going on, you just can't grasp all of it in one listen.
Your Uncle Jerry beard should have clued me in! Saw a few Bruce Hornsby shows…. Giants stadium where they teased Dark Star all night!
Oh, baby…reminds me that I better get my tire(s) replaced. 1.5 year into a 2019 Dodge Ram lease and one rear tire is practically bald…just one side…but it will be a sh!t show come winter.
I need another beer to contemplate my dilemma!
Hope all goes well and you have a quick recovery!
Cheers. Tried all the alternatives & they just didn't pan out
Brought out the big guns for today's NLDS. Nectar of the GODS!
What do you guys think of this one these days? My first post btw! I’m from LA, how about you guys?
It's the getting rid of the beer that might prove problematic. I do have a walking boot & knee scooter!
The sun is long gone, but I can enjoy one more Sip, regardless:
Besides an airshow I think I saw that beauty on the flightline once
hi guys! smoked porter, tasty!
Someone at the store recommened this one to me here in LA. Liked it a lot.
How do you like this one? I’ve heard it’s great.
71st time witha Gumballhead, quite tasty actually!
@vabeerguy Case in point: I just had to move to the back porch because it started to drizzle.
Moved on to a Mortalis Nyx Falcon. I need to get some single-digit ABV beers. Yuengling Hershey’s porter is available again, so that might be a winner. I don’t normally drink porters, but the chocolate really adds some stoutly balance to it.
Thanks. I guess.
It was good, glad you got a good recommendation it. Looking forward to the other beers my friend sent, including a couple more from Wren House. Cheers! And welcome to the thread.
We usually did tuna with the mac-n-cheese. Man, I look back…we had a lot of rough years back then…but we kept it together, got through, and are enjoying the other side. #ScrapperLife …LOL!
You got a lotta nerve putting Teddy's face on a piñata , or whatever sick joke this is …. Obviously Teddy’s not feelin it!
Hit the beach kid if you can. The beach sound and smell can mellow out the worst of things. Been there. I speak the truth.
