    We survived. Wife and I are splitting a tweak and having some pumpkin pie.
    Family gone. Great to see them, but a week of feeding others, entertaining them, and showin' em the sights, just.... we're tired.

    We ended up with only four extras for Thanksgiving dinner. The food was great and everyone had a good time.
    Drinking some Celebration before I make my Bourbon County run.

    Bourbon County '21 Proprietor's is well done. Strawberry and vanilla are present, but not heavy handed, and the coconut is not toxic.

    Lunch of Turkey liver, sautéed onion, on baguette toasts and green beans.
    This treat pairs so very well.

    [​IMG] Always need to try fresh before aging one. I really think this years look and body is impressive. Poured and that gorgeous mocha head stuck around much longer than normal and a lot more lace. This might be the best year I have ever had. Really impressive batch.

    Two different stores in two different states, and we were shut out of Bourbon County. Oh well; it didn't stop us from having a fantastic boozy lunch - nor did it stop me from picking up three cases worth of excellent (and mostly new-to-me) beer.

    A couple of IIPAs for me, and a couple of sours for her, with lunch (spicy veggie chili, gouda-and-chipotle stuffed pretzel, and buffalo chicken dip):

    That was quick. Just picked up 10 bottles of various Ralphius variants.

    Drinking tasters of the Two Year Double Barrel (Buffalo Trace/Sazerac) and Double Barrel (Cognac/Bourbon) before I head home.
