Was essentially told to take a vacation day today, cause my time had stopped accruing...I guess its policy that once you have accrued so much time, you have to take at least one day off to let it begin accumulating again or some stupid thing, thats what I was told anyway...so yeah I'll continue my long weekend sure

And I'm braking the rules, but oh well. At one of my favorite cocktail bars and restaurants. Better Luck Tomorrow. With one of the best Irish Coffee's anywhere


Next is Yellow Rose of coarse...with a simply amazing mortadella sandwich. Yeah, basically fancy Italian baloney, but its just dame good.


Loving this Iris Murdoch novel, I think this was one of her last, and it might be one of her best. As it flips the Sir Gawain and the Green Knight story on its head in 90's London.

 

This aged gracefully.

This finally showed up in my area. Tres Leche cake is a very common dessert in this part of the world and this delivers that flavor. But, I'm still trying to marry it to the original Mexican hot chocolate of the OG Xocoveza. Most likely one a session beer.

I'm drinking a Highland Pilsener that is absolutely delicious!

 

Excellent Czech-style dark lager. It's sufficiently cold, so I'm drinking it and listening to some Yinzer doom metal.
