    Just wrapped up my first Flipside IPA. Didn't strike me as an IPA. Great nose. Flavors were all over. Was hoping for something juicier. Won't return when options are present.

    I came so close to buying a bottle today. Summit made an imperial pumpkin porter a couple of years ago that was terrific, and this had my interest, but I was already blowing through my budget because Surly Wet was released today. Are you saying I should go back and grab this?

    I don't completely know the rules, so this might be some kind of.. beer sacrelgi, and as such I apologize in advance to any 'beer gods' I might anger. :stuck_out_tongue:

    I was feeling very 'eh' about my Hickory Stick Stout, think perhaps it was just a little heavier than what I was wanting.. but it wasn't bad, and I didn't want to pour it. I happened to see a bottle of ginger ale in the fridge and decided I was going to make a Stout Shanty. The verdict? Surprisingly pleasant.

    ..for the second night in a row, I feel as though my life is seriously lacking without this. Pretty much sounds like all my favorite things wrapped up in a lovely little bottle. I'm definitely asking the beer peoples at my store if this is attainable locally when I'm in there on Friday. ..and if it isn't, I have a good feeling that it would be in the DC area, where I can bribe friends/family to send me some..
