Wolfe’s Neck. An IPA brewed by Maine Beer Company.
Hello BA. Been away from the forums for a while but I'm back now. Made a sausage and ham soup the other day and thought it would pair up with this old favorite from the Beers of Fame
This might be the best post ever. That Hamms is SMOKIN'!
I must have missed that so happy belated birthday - cheers!
Good evening BA
Roak Brewing Devil Dog oatmeal stout courtesy of @BigIronH
Sure do enjoy Central Waters ... Cheers !
Holy $hit, this beer is amazing!! It's like a Tree House beer......I've been there 3 times in the last 15 months so I do have an idea. @TheIPAHunter if this is for sale next time I'm in Tampa I'll ship you a 4 pack......Double Dry-Hopped DIPA with Nelson. 8.5% ABV......
cookout wasn’t a total disaster
Been babysitting the niece and nephews the last few days...love those guys but man, glad I ain't got no kids This must be the "magic hour" parents talk about ha.
Lost Forty Brett and Bottled Conditioned Day Drinker. One of the better Orval clones I have come across lately. Which is very high praise. Always really impressed with this one. Finally getting around to finishing up my Franzen novel as well.
My pupper, Moe, enjoying and intrigued by the fire ha.
Treehouse Doppelgänger. Brilliant.
#2, this brewery was my “at the lake local” brewery this summer, and this American Stout that edges more towards the American Porter side of things is still drinking really well. Nice and roasty with some hops at the end of the taste. Good stuff.
Phase three dessert porter
Oddside Hazel’s Nuts Toasted Marshmallow & Coconut version (BBA Imp. Stout w/ coffee, coconut, hazelnut, toasted marshmallow). Despite the adjuncts, this one doesn’t get too sweet thanks to the barrel. Oddside doesn’t disappoint when it comes to BA stouts.
I could be wrong but I have not met a dog yet who did not enjoy laying by the fireplace when there was a warm fire going. I cannot speak for all but for family dogs past and present.
I am tempted to post the Christmas cookies youngest daughter baked. Both have that “blood sugar arising “ look.
Let's see them, the more cookies the merrier or something like that
@tacosandbeer Your canine pal has quite an impressive beard. Im in my 50s and 13 year olds can grow a more impressive beard than me
Drekker Mango/Orange/Banana BRAAAAAAAAins Double Fruit Smoothie Sour, 7.1% ABV.
Found this at my favorite store today and wanted to wait until New Beer Weekend, but couldn’t. Pours midnight black, with a 2 finger plus mocha head that leaves loads of sticky mocha lace. 5
Aroma is deep dark chocolate, vanilla bean, coffee grounds, and coconut. 4.5
Taste dark chocolate, vanilla been, roasty coffee, coconut, and a little alcohol is certainly present. 4.5
Mouthfeel is pretty large, maybe a tad dry, soft almost creamy carbonation, and at 12% a sipper that goes down too easy. 4.75
Overall this brewery can make stouts as well as anyone. Pretty amazed with this one. 4.5
Football and Pilsner

Ever since Genny Night!
Have a good Tuesday. A pretty slow day for me once again. Julia was on training calls all day. We went to Aldi and got a lot of food and it was only $83. I need to go there more often. It's the biggest Aldi we've seen and it's 5 minutes away. I need to do frequent smaller trips and not massive spread out ones. Things have been going bad in my fridge lol.
Got a $5 fridge pizza for tonight plus snack crackers. What a deal.
Got these from my mom's house this weekend. I left a few beers. This is amazing stuff as usual.
Thanks. Best of the season to you… and everyone else here.
Longboard. A lager brewed by Kona.
Brother-in-law called. Said his wife did not feel good. Went to a doc in the box. Turns out Covid positive. So far just a sore throat and fatigue. She is in her mid 50’s and was vaccinated. No booster yet.
I am perplexed. I am vaccinated and got a booster. Sister tells me she knows two friends who were vaccinated and got boosters but got Covid and are on ventilators. Throw my hands up?
My whine aside, I am looking forward to @RaulMondesi wedding. Join the ranks dude. All good.
I had to pick up a few things for my wife at TraderJoe’s today so a 4
pack of these was my tribute
I bought my wife Jeff Tweedy’s book How to Write One Song, for Christmas. Don’t tell her.
my favorite Wilco song
hi guys, cheers!
Invoking snackage without a picture is a 15 yard penalty and loss of down.
Very tasty. Cheers!
Now you can't post a pic and not give a review or tasting notes! How was it?
Seriously, how does @GOBLIN not know that this is food porn heaven here on BA. Come for the beer and drool over the food
A new Dunkel from the heretofore-unknown-to-me Slow Pour Brewing Co. Almost no head, but it's fairly crisp and vaguely chocolatey.
Enjoy it, my bro! If we had VIP at Club Raul, you would have diamond status!!!!
