King Cobbler from Tree House. This is essentially Peach King Julius. I'll have to let @JayORear know what I think of this one. Peace...

Good afternoon BA's, glad to be here with you! Western NC is enjoying a rainy but warm day with temps in the mid-60's.
Today's choice is a Cascadian Dark Ale from Allagash. This one is a throwback to the heavy roasted and nicely hopped brews i loved from yesteryear with a touch of coffee at the end. Would not mind having a 4 pack a couple of times a year of this one!

Listening to Sirius XM Lithium and enjoyed some Counting Crows "August and Everything After" and the depressed lyrics from the mind of Adam Duritz. Definitely one of my favorite albums from the 90's.
    Cheers!

It's like @BeerVikingSailor said, these beers aren't gonna drink themselves. Plus I'm on vacation until Monday, my liver doesn't stand a chance.

Getting it started with Bierstadt Slow Pour Pils. If I lived in Denver, I'd have this in my fridge all of the time. Crisp, light, refreshing, and snappy with a great German noble hop presence. Possibly the best German Pils I've ever had.

Sticking with the Cascadian Dark Ale theme today. This one is from Foothills in Winston-Salem. Definitely a lot less roast in the malt bill and as a result the citrusy hops are showcased with this example. Definitely worth having one if you like the style!
    Cheers,

Peach Eviscerated from Tired Hands. This is better than Very Hazy (Peach) and King Julius (Peach) from Tree House. Hey, what do you want from me? Cheers!

You're correct sir. When we're in FL and I order it out I refuse to check the date on the can bottom. Cheers!

The unreasonably generous @jonphisher sent this nice brown ale to me: Through Being Cool, from Tonewood.

The name appeals to me because I turned forty this year, and although I never actually was cool, I no longer feel like I was skimping on an important chore.

    Thank you, Jon!

    Well hello there!
A glorious day spent out on the trails of Mueller State Park (that's Tava aka "Pikes Peak" in the background) with the wife.
Also, came home and now enjoying another Native Land by Westbound & Down. Cheers!

Really tired coming home every day this week. Trying to reorganize/clean my office/shop between the holidays while business is slower. It's kind of wierd how organizing chaos can be so satisfying even if it's physically wearing me out.
What beer am I drinking? This one and it's great as always.
