Finishing up my Stone 2012 Imperial Russian Stout
Yep. The "willybecker" pint glass. Just picked one up last night. They also have new snifters - gives me an excuse to go again soon!
Never had a chance to back my words up from Thursday night, was enjoying Three Heads Brewing: Too Kind D-IPA and Southern Tier 2XIPA on tap in Rochester. Listening to a new band I've never heard before that rocked the house (Adam Ezra Group), bought all three of their CD's and enjoyed great taps... it was a good night!
Today? I had to cut my cone bearin' bro's down to get ready for winter ...
(I wanted to insert a recording of taps but that could be misinterpreted as disrespectful and I have the utmost respect for the men and women who serve this great country.)
Enjoying this new collaboration release:
And jammin' with some Adam Ezra Group:
This guy has an incredibly tasty acoustic style and the electric stuff they did was great too; in all, I became a fan of this group immediately. Always a welcome treat to hear live music and a real pleasure to discover an unheard of up and coming dynamic group of musicians.
Heads down and get back in 'yer glasses, this is Beer Advocate! Happy Saturday - prost!
Just finished a bomber of Smuttynose Farmhouse. (What better way to end summer than with a saison?) I don't think I've ever finished a beer so quickly lol. Fantastic stuff.
Gotta get primed for work. On Wisconsin!!
Had a couple of glasses of wine but now onto a beer or two, trying this for the 1st time, it's ok but too much fizz and not enough hops!
I was watching a local friend on mine play last night at the coffee house I always go to and my other buddy jammed with them too! Live music is great and even better with some tasty brews!
Essential Pale Ale from Port City Brewing Company in Alexandria, VA...

Ha! We're spoiled here in Maine. "Fresh" means 3 days old.
Also this Jeff!
I really like the sound of that porter, no chance of ever seeing it here so I hope it was good!
It's pretty tasty! It's not bottled or anything but I can get growler fills of it at the moment if you are interested...
I use to hate these fall beers, but this one is delicious. I may have to give these a second take.
Trying out some local German experimentation: the newest Welde Jahrgangsbier.
I love the smell of hops in the evening
Last Daisy Cutter, but on the flip side, the Indians grabbed an early lead.
Doh! The things I miss once I move away as the Halloween Ale was one of my favorites by Gritty's.
