Sipping on this Über Goober from Short's Brewing, compliments of @Whyteboar. Cheers!
Cheers to your determination
Awesome, brother. I have 7 years left and they can take this job and shove it.
Checking out a new local brewery. Actually a West Coast brewery that has just opened a satellite operation here. Drinking "This Ain't Your Grandma's Oatmeal Stout" pretty good.
#2, world class, IMHO. Dovetail is the shizzy dizzy, again IMHO.
Triptych Batch 1000 Imperial IPA. Absolutely amazing Dank NEIPA.
Second pour at Twin Elephant: Old Raritan, a Milk Porter brewed with habanero pumpkin peppers, coffee beans, vanilla, and cinnamon. When it was originally released in 2017 it was 7.4%. In this version the coffee beans are bourbon barrel aged and it's 11.4% It's fantastic! The peppers are super hot and the mouth feel is like motor oil. It's one of the best peppered big beers I've ever had. Cheers!
Starting tonight with a favorite.........
Absolutely love this brewery. The visit to the home sight is a must!
Expecting a post! However, not a post about you only having 9 digits. Be safe Mike!
Finishing off some Rock. Rolling Rock that is. Out of can into a stemless wine glass. Going down easy after yard work.
Hinterland packerland pilsner
Glad to see we are on page 3. I prefer not to post three beer pics on the same page. It might give folks the wrong impression.
Anyway, Interstellar Burst, a DIPA brewed by Triple Crossing.
Next up is a special beer. 2009 Angel's Share from Lost Abbey, which I believe was the first year this was released. This is probably the first barrel-aged beer that really caught my attention many years ago. It has aged like a fine barleywine. Cheers!
I look forward tomorrow to tormenting my BA friends with pics of fresh oysters.
This NETIPA always impresses me.
I absolutely cannot get my current picture to send off my phone, by any method - but I'm drinking Finback's Double Something Citra, since I think it would be nice to compare it directly to Other Half. Picture recycled due to aforementioned technical difficulties (same setting, though).
I'm okay with Powder Day. It's different and enjoyable. Cheers y'all.
hi guys, cheers! bourbon
It made 76º in Texas today. I got a chill. Whiskey. Irish warmup.
New Glarus' Gyrator Doppel........Good Doppel, big rich, bread flavors, a little sweet.
I would answer with a bourbon pic if I had some more bourbon. Gotta get my sorry ass to the state store before the snow on Sunday to get me some bourbon warmer.
Thanks for your post young man. It inspired me.
We celebrating my 55th tonight a few days early. Moving on from rolling rock to tower station, IPA from AZ.
Really enjoying this classic. Cheers!
2SP Brewing Co. -- Zoltan The Imperialist
Imperial red ale
7.2% ABV; pouring temperature: unknown; tapping data: unknown
4.09/5 rDev +8.8%
look: 3.75 | smell: 4 | taste: 4.25 | feel: 4 | overall: 4
Appears dark amber; pretty nice off-white head. Clasdic, spicy, resinous hop aroma. Well-rounded tasteyly mild malt base; earthy, spicy hop flavor hinting at anise and licorice. Medium-heavy body; crisp and prickly; light stickiness.
A very nicely brewed imperial red ale. Great balance and depth between the malts and the hops.
...had this at the Kennett Square, PA pub...met my youngest sister there for good talk, food and drink (I'm the oldest of seven children, she's the youngest)...both in Chadds Ford, PA area for the funeral of our last uncle - Uncle David, 96 years...
That was some weird school of rock lookin shit...but I really liked it!
Got a 4-pack of this and cracking my first can. I'm a big fan of the nose, but the taste is VERY sweet! Cheers!
I went to the store(Walmart) today, They had Modelo on $25.67 a case. I heard the shelves were empty but BS. Some potato chip packages were missing but who cares? Had some regular Voodoo too. I got paper(tp) products today. They had everything I was after. I got beaucoup booze right now. Cheers amigo!!
Happy birthday! To be 55 again. I hope you built in some weekend birthday plans.
Rolling Rock. Had my share but it has been awhile.
Pretty much my favorite instrumental song of all time. Thanks for posting it!
This Magnanimous Critical Haze is tasting great......
I am glad to hear all of this. I stocked up on Richmond beer today. I do though need to get some bourbon. Makers Mark is my goal.
Have a good weekend my friend. I am getting an oyster delivery tomorrow. Do not be surprised if I post some fresh oyster pics. And maybe a shucking injury pic.
2SP Brewing Co. -- Kennett Square, PA
...had a few more beers but not able to rate or review as I was having a great time gabbing with my youngest sister...
Baby Bob -- American stout, 6.0% ABV (my sister was drinking Pony Boi Golden Lager)...
Delco Lager -- amber lager, 4.0% ABV
...plus I ordered a crowler of Delco Lager and wound up with this growler instead...I can deal with this, especially since I didn't drop this thing along the side of the road lurching back to my hotel room...they had another lager (with Saaz hops) I really wanted, but they didn't offer it in a crowler/growler...anyway, I'll be back at least once or twice more for food and beer...
...and, hey Jeff (aka @jzeilinger) -- was this the 2SP place you were talking about or the one near the Philly airport...???
Thanks VA. The day of my bday is taken with other stuff. So tonight I am enjoying sone cold beer and family. Thanks
First up a double dead guy
I'm on my 3rd listen and this album is really growng on me. I like the direction they're heading..but I also wouldn't mind if their next album was remission part 2
Tröegs Nugget Nectar
Freshest by 4/19/22. Tasty, a bit on the bitter side but the hop aroma/flavor is definitely there.
Mrs. Mac is down the Shore tonight but there's excellent leftovers - poached salmon buried in ziti and Broccoli Rabe. I like Drekker's Freak Parade but wish it arrived in New Jersey fresher. It's hard to justify buying an IPA that's almost 8 weeks old - even from an excellent brewer.
