Ok, a lil' easy pace half-marathon run to complete the week. Had brunch, now moving on to TEND to other things as my new course kicks in starting tomorrow. Means I'll be scarcer, but that'll give you a break.

Starting off this snowy Sunday with some tropical vibes. Energy City Bistro Pineapple Coconut Cream Pie (Berliner with pineapple, coconut, vanilla, and “natural flavors”). The beer is nicely tart to balance out the sweetness from the adjuncts. Not super thick like a lot of these kind of beers can get. Between the tartness and the lighter body, this is actually more drinkable and refreshing than I anticipated. I dig it.

 

Yuengling Heavy talls for the rest of the first game.

 

It's time to get back to drinking some dusty bottles. A good starting point is this 2014 Firestone Double DBA. It held up surprisingly well with sweet toffee, vanilla, a dash of warming booze and oak. I'll chalk it up as a winner!

This gave me a laugh last night and I'm sure it's the highlight for most Bears fans this season. You know your organization is a joke when your greatest moment is produced by a player you let go.

Double whammy it is and damn are they great! I run a tight shipwreck around my place and I deserve 'em. Cheers! Keep on smiling!

Always a solid return - actually about to finish it up in a few sips - pics from like an hour ago lol - got the game coming up at 3 - great game last night btw - can't ever be too much of a San Fran fan because they're one of my oldest "enemy" teams - even though there's really no one there now that I hate - glad to see GB knocked out though (sorry @GreenBayBA) - Aaron Rogers has just become a bit much the past few years - I was on board back in the Holmgren/Favre days though!

Anyways, great title fights last night, too! Even my wife stayed up and watched the Ngannou/Gane fight - it was great - and Ngannou has definitely proved that he is the baddest man on the planet, while Ciryl Gane clearly is going to be around a while, too - great match...

Alright, I gotta prep a new drink - it's about game time...
