    A bright, fresh juiciness fills the nose, the mouth, and the spirit, on this cold and snowy Sunday afternoon. The aroma has Mellon’s, supported by strong, oscillating citrus and pine.

    The song lyrics and mood fit superbly, not just the title.

    Damn it, missed Baltic Porter Day by one day, still drinks rather nicely though!

    Jester King - Pattinson Porter (Baltic Porter): I'm not necessarily a huge fan of sour stouts/porters, but this really is incredibly well done, with an excellent balance of roasted, bitter, sour and slightly sweet notes.

    Drinking the beer I dislike first. Anyone else do that when buy a variety case? Just to get thru to the good stuff? Freaking Kona Mai Time Light. Maybe one of the lousiest beers ever created.

    Great Notion Super Ripe DIPA (Citra/Vic Secret). Passionfruit, navel orange, white peach, grapefruit, pineapple, some lime, citrus rind, pine resin. Much more dry and bitter than expected, but that’s not a bad thing at all. It’s a solid NEDIPA, but nothing special. Go Rams!
