    Sweet but quite refreshing and has authentic fruit taste. Something I will definitely be buying next year again.[​IMG]

    look: 3.75 | smell: 4 | taste: 3.5 | feel: 3.75 | overall: 3.75

    Partially cloudy body, tangerine orange in color; coarse, lively carbonation; fairly thick and frothy head, white and sticky. Very appealing aroma; gentle fruit sweetness; berries and musk melon, kiwi. Fairly malt forward; light fruit sweetness; dull citrus; light to moderate hop bitterness. Medium body; fair amount of residual sugars; semi-sweet feel overall but with a slightly dry edge.

    Per the bottle label, I'm a bit late in trying this beer (I probably got it about five months ago which would have placed it towards the end of its best-buy date). But factoring in the age, it's not a bad IPA per se. I'll add this one to my "must-try with a fresher version" list.

    ...this John Zorn cut is not on my personal JZ sampler disc I recently made...

    What else is great is Daryl F*cking Hall in shades. Don't get me started on these two. Legends... in every sense... of the word. WORD.

    As I sip my own Sip of Sunshine, on the phone with my wife, I was just talking about my appreciation for this beer (after one wonderful sip).

    Basically, if I have more than one in a day, or if I have it multiple days in a row, it's a great, enjoyable beer.

    But if it's been a few days? That first sip is magical, every time.

    Pretty fresh oak Jai Alai , canned 6 December. New to me. Dry. Not as much oak as I hoped for. The cedar Jai Alai was very woody. Prepping some Hungarian mushroom soup. I forgot to get bread so it’s just going to be soup tonight.
