I forgot I had pulled the trigger and ordered this a while back from SN - 2019 vintage collab with DFH - an ass kicking strong ale! Really great stuff



the wind is howling, snow has turned to sleet for the moment - and all is well here on the North Coast!

 

Drinking a stout cuvée of Guinness Cold Brew and Founders Breakfast Stout after shoveling more than a foot of snow from our driveway. As I finished and looked back at the house, I saw two more inches to shovel on the way back up. Cue the Benny Hill music

 

A late lunch beer - It’s 82° here and I’m doing laundry in the garage - Goon Squad DIPA (9.8%):

I bought one can of this, Pollyanna's BBA Hideaway, looks good, smells good, tastes good, the 1st couple sips. But, this go south on this as it warms, too damn sweet.

I've always enjoyed walking around beer stores to see what's new, not so much any more. I like beer that tastes like beer, not something that I can pour on my pancakes.
I'm probably in the minority, but fuck brewers who ad junk to beer!

One hell of a technically challenging day today, was straight out all day long but managed to get all the issues resolved. I feel like I worked for this beer and it's tasting fine despite the dreary, rainy weather outside.

 

Lotta ice out there. Not going to work tonight. Time for a beer.
