    Happy birthday @BeerVikingSailor, hope you have many years in retirement with good health and good beer!
    Onto round 2 after enjoying carousing today's posts and the first beer. Picked up a four-pack of this imperial coffee stout from Burial at my local bottle shop in Hendersonville yesterday. Heavy roasted beans dominate the flavor profile and donuts are not included.
    Still listening to Garth Brooks and have always liked this "newer" song from Elle King which i am having a harder time these days in finding new music i like. Very poppy and fun.

    Hopfenreiter (2021), a DIPA from German brewery Maisel & Friends (8.5%).

    I always enjoy the Hopfenreiter series, although it also always feels slightly overburdened due to the large number of hop varieties, which kinda makes the different notes mesh together a little too much, not feeling that well-defined.
