A fruited, sour Saison. A little more fruited and sour that it seems to be Saison. Decent nonetheless. Cheers.

Thanks - it dates back to the days when I used to drink Pete's - that's one of the beers that got me into craft.

 

Nah - it's not about keeping up with Joneses, it's about maintaining your own awareness so if something does happen you can go back and see it happen. They're also great for spotting when your package delivery is sent to the wrong house as well. I love mine.

 

Well, well @ipahunter...You inspired me!

A buddy of mine just got out of work and was excited by the opportunity to drink some fresh MBC Spring on tap (read: pick my ass up).

Alas, they ran out last night shortly after announcing yesterday.

Despite the disappointment, this very fresh, very oddly flat-looking thing is Sanctuary from Mast Landing. It's absolutely delicious and like I have my mouth on the spigot if their secondary fermenter

Tired Hands Double Alien Church. Wow, this is the best run of this beer I've had, which is saying a lot. Perfectly balanced with just enough bitter, supremely gulpable. I could drink this all night long.

 

More Foreign Extra Stouts, and Jackie McLean. Just of a slightly different variety.

Man, I hope Holler continues to make this, it is a damn good stout, and the last of it for now as well.

Yellow Rose IPA 6.8% - Lone Pint Brewery
Damn fine first beer of the day and it's going down oh so smoothly. Cleaned the car port out and reorganized it today. Making space for a grill/chill area. I used to have a chill spot there as a teenager to lol. I do believe 1 of the keys to life is staying a kid at heart. Cheers!

 

It’s fine for what it is. Not a favorite, but still enjoyable. I remember seeing it on tap in London in 2007, and the tap said “extra cold” (it was two degrees colder than what was normal or something - and back then I thought that was cool because it was all about beer being as cold as possible, right)? Anyway, I remember liking it better out of the tap in London, and oddly enough in Vancouver in 2010. Had some ok draught pours in the US, but nothing comparable to those foreign ones. I also remember bartenders pouring it straight into the glass without tilting it, then letting it sit for a minute or so, and then finishing the pour with the glass still flat.
