Began today with this Modist I Bring You Love Oak Aged Czech Pilsner. It was much more of an extra pale hazy lager than anything. Very curious and good tasting but not very pilsner-like IMHO. Glad I tried it and moved on to Drekker Juiceler. Cheers!

More business plan writing. Santa fe imperial Java stout should give me the energy I need to get another chunk knocked out.

Here's a beauty from Nebraska: Kros-Strain Helles Creek German-Style Lager. It has a very nice bready & light caramel grain bill that really refreshes. Bready nose as well. I'll get more of it this summer & might have to tag one of these with ghost pepper...a pleasure to drink. Salute!

That’s what I’m thinking. If I told my future beer self years ago I’d be hauling Aldi Wernesgruner across state lines I wouldn’t believe you. :stuck_out_tongue:

Hot tub, American Solera Tulsa Pipe IPA. Son ran in the 200, finished 7th. Was in the relay running 3rd & they dropped the baton on the opening pass. Now he can concentrate on healing & getting ready for football

    Peace out LNBAers

Moving on to something hoppy. New Image Brewing Just Another Phantastic Nelsoner. Can label says:
    Water: RO- bright ipa
Malt: 2 row, white wheat, flaked wheat, carahell
Hops: Nelson sauvin, motueka, souther cross
    Yeast: cosmic punch
    Other: phantasm
Like @TheIPAHunter , I am also a big fan of Nelson hopped beers, and while I thought phantasm was a gimmick, the vineous white wine notes that I love in Nelson are really amplified with the use of phantasm powder. The cosmic punch yeast is described as being a super thiolized version of their British ale yeast. I'm digging it. Tons of white wine flavors, over ripe melon, maybe some pear in their. A hint of catty musk. Mouthfeel is full, silky, but not gritty or chalky.
