Wow I will be looking for that one.
KinderHill Brew Lab (Bryan, TX) It’s All Shel’s Fault sour coffee brown ale. Odd style, but it has been a bright spot during Spring 2022. Probably never to be brewed again...
Finally crawling home after a 13-hour workday. Great start to the week. Let's try this Ever Grain NEIPA:
Nothing like a good beer and an enthusiastic welcome from my BFF to take a few points off my blood pressure.
Sculpin 2016 versus 2022. Details of this ridiculous experiment here.
Finishing up some chores and then curling up with a Cafe deth and watching the Avs. As of now we're the only team undefeated in the playoffs and likely going to sweep Nashville. Who's next? Hopefully the blues.

Light, dirty brown brown, cloudy; lasting yet thin bone colored head. Earthy, musty, malty nose; caramel; raisins. Rich, malty flavor; vanilla and caramel notes; underlying hints of white oak; mild booziness. Heavy, velvety body; soft and chewy; relatively sweet mouthfeel; light alcohol warmth.
For a 9-year old beer, this one has aged beautifully. It's also nice having a rich, creamy (if thin) head that lasts. Subtly complex and rich, heavy yet easy drinking
...ne shelf beer. cheers BAs! xoxo!!
Tox Brewing Death Angel
Al Horford seems to have the fountain of youth but I still don’t know how this game will end.
Nothing wrong with a Marshall and letting it breathe.
Also, I can’t confirm Dave was playing a Marshall on this, but what the hell? But he does have a midrange bump that doesn’t make me think Boogie. But what do I know? Hell, perhaps it was a cranked Princeton Reverb.
My closer for this Monday. Sleep well all.
This is good. Well balanced and not sweet. Really dig the hop blend.
Mosaic, Meridian, Wai-iti, Idaho 7 and Nelson.
Great beer and song. Maybe EQ is bumped up in the middle? Boston used this all over the place. If I use my vintage Boss equalizer I can get that sound without a tube amp.

btw Mr. @tolar111 things I didn’t know: new British wife, love the accent , and damn, a bit heavy on the hippy attitude, … ahhh Earth Day 1990 in Washington park with my very pretty yet not English girlfriend. Gives my sentimental heart pitter patters!
If youre referring to Sundays Mothers day it was dinner from 4-7 and Im still recovering. A real long and hard story my friend.
Now that is a beer. And you’ll always be Tom for me.
He asked for it!
I CAN't be blamed for this one!
And, if he's as intelligent as I give him credit for, he'll screw off the cap on the acCANponying BOTTLE (gasp!) and solve the rebus. I don't do much trading due to drowning in beer, but this was a long-standing promise.
I appreciate every one who puts their heart into their work. Whether on the plate. A song. Or a hard day’s work.
I cheered you Friday night, don’t know if you saw, but as always wishing you the best and I know you work friggin hard to make your guests have a special meal!
ps @Hiwattowner and I had Captains daughter Friday night…. We sent you good voodoo….. thankful we prevented even more difficult Mothers Day with our positive karma
Post all day drive numero-el-two-o. At two months out this shah is still really enjoyable. (Now wish I bought more.)
Jamming on a Spotify Elton John mix with Thing 2 while he's rockin' the Xbox. 'Good to have the kid home again (his mother concurs). !!
Came back from a long walk and started drinking a few of these. Eating dinner. Gonna hit the hay here shortly.
Dancing Gnome - Common Merganser Brown Ale
You should turn this into its own post. Very informative.
New to me Russian River beer that I picked up while at the brewery in Santa Rosa - RnD #4:
I have to admit I just walked by Notch as soon as I saw "Session" and its completely unfounded, the very reason you need to try different styles. Anyhow in my HO they are growing at a perfect rate. They have moved up as producers of excellent lagers. I just found a last 4 of this today. I think this is the best beer Ive had so far this year- definitely in the running. The triple decoction and open fermentation give this a unique but perfect twist on this classic lager. Its a lightening quick fruitiness followed by some caramel and spicy rye. Man this beer is, I would say excellent. I like IPAs ...but seriously I hope they dont make one...
Weird to see Russian River using those hops. How's it taste?
