Angel Olsen's new album just released. Holy cow, love this so much. Half Speed mastering, 45 RPM record, this sounds incredible. All her albums are fantastic, and this is almost a full on old school country album, complete with some Stax like horns thrown in on occasion

A wonderful Maine Lunch to enjoy with this beautiful album.

Full review in New Beer Weekend. This is a solid Pale Ale consistent with the other (mostly old school IPAs) I’ve had from this brewery.

I've got an old red Coleman canoe in the back yard that is pink. That black looks nice What paint did you use? And I like the looks of where you live!

 

A little fruit juice hydration after mowing and moving on to washing the car. This isn't a style I normally drink but when you're sweaty and thirsty it sure hits the spot!!

I just had a big lunch. After quickly drinking two delicious NEIIPAs outside in the sun, with a pleasant breeze, I will probably fall asleep right where I am sitting. The birds outside my window did not let me sleep very much after 4am this morning, despite the fact that I started wearing industrial ear plugs after the first chirp woke me up.

 

I wouldn’t say this one from Cisco Brewing is very hazy, but it is called Wandering Haze. Light crisp and refreshing.

Having an Orval.
Hotel restaurant is closed on Saturdays. No problem. I'm sure I will survive till breakfast on some old bread and a nice piece of Orval cheese.

It’s not cask ale like I jealously spied @JamFuel drinking. Not sure if you guys and gals noticed or not.


Ardent’s English Pub Ale is quiye tasty today, though - nice toasted malt and a neutral to earthy bitterness that balances things and lies waiting fir you after you think it headed home.

Also, hoping UVA’s baseball team can get a leg up with a win in the winners’ side of the NCAA regional, since I’d much prefer ECU needing to beat us 2 straight times than the reverse.
