Indeed Towelie approved! Thanks sir! Sounds like you've been building up some serious mileage. Fantastic stuff on your part. I'm gonna transition into a road runner starting this week for my next venture.

But, a glass of Champagne first...

EDIT: Alas, @FatBoyGotSwagger beat me to it... cheers!

    Hey BA's

Late to the beer posting party today - busy with chores and boat prep stuff

picked up this sweet 1957 Evinrude 5.5 hp Fisherman outboard for only $100 bucks today - should match up nicely with the 1956 14 ft Gibbs Rocket Runabout I am restoring currently

only paid $200 for the boat and trailer - so a total of $300 invested thus far - the twin cylinder outboard should push her along nicely

    That's so much awesome!

As you're well familiar with my locale, there'll be no pineapples found in my garden.

Living lavishly over here what with all the constant champagne and banquets.

Straight out the bottle ala Heady.

Apologies in advance for that analogy @TheIPAHunter

An IPA brewed by Veil. I am a big Veil IPA/DIPA fan. Sometimes not though.

Blood tests tomorrow morning. Had a bunch last week. Going back for round two. They must like my blood. I probably should not drink too many brews tonight, if any. Too late for that now Mike. Still got a few in the lineup for tonight.

A couple of beers at Holler this afternoon.

    Keep Houston Krispy Kolsch
    [IMG]

And Margret Thatcher Naked on a Cold Day, yeah its a pretty great English Bitter, even it they don't do cask anymore.

Then went over to Julep, a wonderful cocktail bar that just won the James Beard Award and was named one of the 50 best bars in America. I mean, I have been coming here since the beginning, and now you can't find a seat unless you come right at opening ha, but oh well.

This is Rye Whiskey, Amaro, Brandy, lemon and bitters. Yeah its pretty great

Maybe have another beer at home with some music...

Barley Creek King Phillip's English Pale Ale.
Not bad, but the additions of Capa & Styrian Aurora hops are to me, throwing it off to lean towards a more American tasting Pale Ale.
Not quite the British hop profile I was hoping for.
    Cheers y'all!

This is my last pint of this excellent imperial stout, it is 15 months old, and it’s still delicious - Almond Joy indeed. The cocoa nibs and vanilla stand out, with a bit of coconut, and the booze (12.5% ABV) is creeping forward. Absolutely love it.
