Out at dinner w/ the gf. Having a DFH 60 Minute. I actually miss this taste. Cheers.
Seeing what happens when I don't take this out of its original glass to transfer to another glass.
I bet it ain't bad!
Just made the dogs dinner.
Now, prepping ours. Caribbean style cabbage with some sausage, shrimp and peppers.
Speaking of peppers, this Carolina Reaper plant has been doing well. Need to replant into something larger.
Having one from my man @Blogjackets — love having these in the fridge!
Just finished doing an oil change on my VW.
Time for a beer...
This beer is dedicated to the man I watched shoot up in broad daylight next to the old stereo shop under the L in West Kensington.
Thank you for staying away from my car and also dead ass seriously hope u get the help you need.
This one's for you.
PBR. Probably about to pop open another 1 to. Cheers y'all!
Well looky here.... @Knapp85 just showed up, what a small Valley this really is.
Looks like round Numero-el-two-o.
The mrs. and I love HighGrain! They brew great beers and we love the food they serve. Some great people working there too.
...I've got to get back there sometime to Fall when I normally go and all the gardens have been winterized...it's a great place though...
Happy Solstice you wonderful Beer Advocates
No skyclad shenanigans for me,
a beer with the fam-a-lam & catching up with Stranger things
It's been a wild weekend and this next beer is dedicated to the man wearing nothing but a black skirt in cedar creek park west Philadelphia who screamed "its all a distraction" loud as hell over and over while lighting trash cans on fire with a torch and threw said torch into a tree with no regard for the children present. He got away. This one's for you.
Also to the fiend in fishtown who knocked over an entire light post with his bare hands.
Wish I was kidding. Full force weekend in Philly
O Connor Pacific High WCIPA
I've found them fascinating and disgusting in reference to the past events. Nuff said
Good evening BAs!
These guys definitely know what they are doing...
This is one of the best, no doubt about it!
I finally broke down and bought a Maine Beer Company glass. It arrived today.
Wolfe’s Neck is one of my favorite IPAs. Last night I had Lunch which is another great IPA.
The Romantic IPA Hunter!
A third and final rolling rock. And the icing on the cake was the dude on the block of Delaware Ave and South Street. Who wanted to throw hands with a dude who pulled out a whole machete and the dude STILL managed to get a couple shots in unphased. U sir are a real one. I swear. You can't make this up. The fiends come out at night. I love Philadelphia
Joining @meanmutt with a Rhinegeist Cheetah Lager. Nice & light. Cheers!
It's been almost two weeks since I've had a Sip of Sunshine - actually, maybe longer than two weeks. I'm sure @TheIPAHunter can tell you: this is a situation that needs addressing, now.
Just under a month old and wonderful. Cheers!
Very refreshing and excellent! Cheers!
Personvl Personvl Spvce Spvce. A DIPA brewed by Veil.
Nice 88 degrees with little humidity so the yard was mowed, weed eated and blown, Two Hearted....
On the second pour, which is more, than the pour before...
Tonight's Blind Battle Beer Tasting Lineup:
1) Bohemia Clásica (4.7%): A Czech-style Pils from 1905 from Mexico with flavors of pale and lightly buttered biscuit malts. Smooth and soft.
2) Pilsner Urquell (4.4%): The true Czech Pils from 1842 that has buttery and salty flavors of diacetyl atop the bread malt.
3) Fulton Moon Howler IPA (6.5%): A hazy IPA from Minnesota with flavors of orange, pineapple, mango haze mixed with a resinous malt body for a smooth, sweeter finish.
4) Revolution Hazy Hero IPA (7.3%): A hazy IPA from Chicago with flavors of citrus rind, pineapple, and some dank berry notes. Clean.
(mismatched these two blind)
2) Pilsner Urquell: Hard to argue with the gold-standard Czech pilsner. Classic buttery and bready flavors that you'd expect. Nobody can quite replicate it.
3) Fulton Moon Howler IPA: This one surprised me for being older. Tropical, but also resinous and dank notes and a darker malt body. East Cost juice mixes with the maltier Midwest IPA without any of the bitter West-Coast attributes.
My last pint of PBR. I'll be back with better beer tomorrow that is for sure. Cheers y'all!
Wolfe’s neck was delicious. Their beers are so clean it’s ridiculous. Also had an outstanding Pils, Prince Percy. One of the better Pils I’ve ever had.
Maine Beer Second Dinner
I have this local liquor store right by my house, really cool guys, that orders victory prima pilz just for me and it's awesome because that means I am always able to get this beer super fresh, under month old.
In other stores this beer is a shelf turd.
I have not seen Prince Percy in Richmond but if I do I will buy a bottle.
Long day, this now.
Grilling what we weren't hungry enough for on Sunday....her duck breast, fat rendering for duck fat potatoes... Jai Alai....
