I’d agree but I have to look up esoteric to make sure you are not calling me names
Yeah the US is crazy. I'll add another damn!
I was hoping to rent a car and drive out to a few places, but it's not possible during this trip. I will be heading to Cantillon when in Brussels early next week. My favorite stop in Belgium.
Cantillon really is a beeriligious experience.
The selection for onsite tasting is always insane, and the prices are always reasonable.
Nice choice of tunes on a Friday!

Beautiful golden yellow body; semi-hazy; sparse, coarse carbonation; thick, frothy head, white and creamy. Cracker-like aroma with a bit of citrus. Light malt taste with a moderately intense bitterness; very mild esters; a bit of white grapefruit. Medium body; crisp and mildly coarse on the palate; light juiciness yet finishes semi-dry.
A decent, low-key American pale. I didn't get any of the 'berry, watermelon, fruit cup' flavors the brewery touted, but it has delicate and refreshing quality that goes well after a hot day of bicycle riding.
...took a little 24+ mile bicycle ride after my Hair of The Dog beer earlier in the day...this beer makes for a fine post-ride refresher...thanks, Dylan...
Sipping on another Jabberwocky. Cheers y'all!
The Jabberwocky IPA 8.5% - Lone Pint

More California brew
Thanks for sharing @RaulMondesi
Mascot Shifty from the OH green city box. Not much stands out on this beer but still enjoyable. Soft, good head retention, lemon/lime and other non-descript citrus notes. Hope you all are having a nice Friday evening.
Kicking off tonight's beer bash with a Neon Beer Hug IPA. A welcome thunderstorm blew thru and dropped the 97 feels like 112 temp to a cool 72 degrees, yes!
An excellent lager from a lesser known Cali brewery. Went down fast so I cracked another; Not sure what this is because I really don’t know shit about beer and styles but it’s really good and fresh. 6/9. Beer, glass, and can courtesy of @Resistance88 my main man and brother of beer. Cheers
Yes, Da Boss and i enjoyed binging BB several years ago. Watched Bryan Cranston in "Your Honor" on Showtime earlier this year which was interesting. Currently going back and binging "Malcolm in the Middle" in which Season 1 is standing the test of time!
PS: Your LaCumbre posts make me very envious...miss having it since i reloacted from PHX to NC last year...i will live vicariously thru your posts!
Looked for a single can Stone but store nearby didn't have, so took a chance on a Lagunitas with an actual calendar date (060422). Left unsaid was whether this is a born on or best by though guessing its born on consistent with their previous Julian date coding.
Tastes alright, but a bit lighter than I recall, though with pleasant. Want to try it on tap once they finally reopen the taproom on the near South Side. I'd keep my 3.76 rating the same based on this version, Larry. @tasterschoice62
Lagunitas Little Sumpin' Sumpin' Ale
My brother shared this clip of his favorite musician earlier this week.
Seedz Unfamiliar Faces: Blue Label (Motueka, Mosaic, Citra). Lime sorbet, lime zest, ripe blueberry, clementine, ripe mango, white peach, orange pith, pink grapefruit, some lemon zest, bright pine. Nicely dry and bitter despite being a hazy. Well done.

My love for Brubeck was indoctrination. My Pops back in the early 70's was still meeting up with his buds for a session of Stroh's (i grew up in mid-Michigan) on Saturday afternoons and after our Saturday night dinner would lie down for a nap and some Brubeck in which i would join him as a 7-9 year old, knowing he would hold me hostage LOL!
I love my childhood friends, I really do, but to say that we are diametrically opposed in our viewpoints would be an understatement. Case in point, today's world events. Hey, some friendships don't last 20 minutes. Mine has lasted over 30 years. We fight like no other because I think love is the tapestry that connects us all together. And when I say fight, I mean we will literally throw hands. But Hunter, I thought you loved everyone? I do... until you piss me off. Haha! Now drinking a 10 to celebrate Tree House's 10-year anniversary, and again (once again), I will listen to this shitty song to keep me from going off on my friends. Peace...
Wife is busting on me cause I didn't get the correct glass for this TH Kolsch

Happy Friday! Berkshire Dandylion at my cousins waiting for a wedding happy hour
Iron Horse @Brown’s Walloomsac
Very cool that you're getting Saint Errant out by you. I would argue they are putting out some of the best hoppy stuff out of Chicago. Cheers!
I planned on reviewing this beer tomorrow for NBW, but it is hotter than a chicken skiing down a volcano, so I opened it up. Then I notice the Amazon package on my porch, which contained high-quality Wisconsin old school death metal. @JamFuel, you and I are heading towards oblivion, but I am experiencing so much joy!
Come what may, brother!
One of the best beers, let alone Pilsner's in Texas. Live Oak Gold.
Joan Baez spinning. I guess its going to be a Greenwich Village/Vanguard folk kind of afternoon
