What Beer Are You Drinking Now? #3558

Oooh so slow so heres something I never do. I got up late, put my ACs in and now Im going to have liquid lunch. On the menu is duck.

 

I really do not feel like a NEIPA today, despite having some glorious shit in the fridge. Sometimes I just can't do that creamy, thick mouthfeel sans bitterness. I think this beer should taste pretty good. Cheers!

 

This is good stuff. I will be adding it to my go to non hazy IPA list. Cheers y'all!

Hey BA's, another typical summer day south of Asheville with temps in the mid-80's, clouds, and some humidity but nothing like at the lower elevations.
Received a couple of bottles of this in my first trade in my BA career, thank you Tomas! As advertised, this is Firestone Walker's finest BA stout, aged two years in Sarazec Rye and Old Fitzgerald Bourbon barrels. This is THE best BA stout i have enjoyed in my long imbibing career! The heavy roasted malts emit notes of dark chocolate and the barrels, particularly the Sarazec impart a wonderful rye spiciness along with notes of vanilla and leather. A nice light touch of alcohol booziness. So well rounded, a perfect taste for my palate!

Rum Barrel Aged Imperial Tiki Stout • 12.54% ABV • Notes of orange zest and nutmeg garnish aromatic waves of dark rum and tropical fruit, setting the tone for this Painkiller cocktail-inspired imperial stout.

 

Back in rainy and muggy MA from sunny and muggy FL. Back to work tomorrow. But now time for a beer. Some German Afternoons from Notch. Wow, this is a good lager. Notch clearly knows how to brew them.

 

Having another Sip of Sunshine. It's glorious. Just got done eating some of my homemade salsa sans chips. Yeah, sometimes I eat like it's soup. I love that shit. Nice & spicy, and definitely better than anything you can get in a store. Easy to make, and always better than store brand -- or any brand, for that matter. Cheers!

Probably on it's way to becoming my go to IPA - I can't find the Hippie Chick around here anymore and I got no response from the brewery. Eventually I get tired of hunting for it. @SABERG are you able to find it out your way?

Aggressively Hopped West Coast style. Definitely piney. Lip smackin’, tongue lickin’, teeth suckin’ bitter good. Please chew before swallowing.

 

No shit? I’ve been enjoying a few from my Maynard friends. But you’ve had the ones I’m getting. I sure have enjoyed these.

Yeah - I'm just tired of the high ABV and prices - not to mention 16 oz cans. Although what you have there looks great - I'm not a fan of Tree House myself. I've never found a NEIPA to visually be a thing of beauty. Cheers and enjoy!

Wouldn't really group Focal in that category, but in this instance, you're talking about some superbly crafted examples. You've seen what I drink. I love a great NEIPA, truly. Sometimes they just wear me down. The best ones, however, will have you rethinking everything.
