    Decided to give this a try in an effort to find something we'd both enjoy. He was unimpressed, as was I, unfortunately. Not a pour, but more than likely won't be buying again..

    Now for something lovely. Enjoy By? Harvest? La Fin Du Monde? Narwhal? Expedition? Serious Madness? Hop Stoopid? Yeti Imp Stout? Big Foot? I suck at decisions. At MOST I can pick 2 more for tonight... Hrm.

    Started off with a Sly Fox Grisette. Now I'm on to my first dirtwolf. Just got this in to my area.

    Wow. I will be going back for more. I only wish it was ~ $1 cheaper, but man its a great. Might it be the best year round DIPA available on Long Island...?

    agree with that description.

    as for your "buy now or wait?" dilemma, while i can't answer that for you, i can tell you that since trying the single i bought, reviewing it, and posting what you quoted, i walked to the store and bought a 4pk myself. was tempted to buy 2... and i'm a pretty severe cheapskate.

    Cracked one open back at the hotel.... It's ok. I wanted to try one of their "regular beers." It's not the FW I have learned to lust after... but it's ok. I will stay with the Parabola, Double Jack, Sucaba, Anniversary, etc. Can't wait to try one of the Velvet Merkin. Maybe I should chill one of those while I'm here. Was planning on taking them home...
