Stovepipe of some 90 Minute. Heading to dinner shortly.
Next up is Sticky Trees, a hazy IPA from Boundary Bay and The North Folk Brewery. Compliments of @BBThunderbolt in BIF 15. Nice IPA! Notes over in the NBW thread. Cheers all! It's getting hot - almost time to jump in the pool.
It's time to shut down the neighborhood and order police presence. Hunter w/ a can of Heady dated 7/7/2022. Yeah, more than thankful, and in the absolute best place that I could be. This is my beer. I love you. Cheers!
Someone is pretty jacked about their aqua drink
What's good, BAs?
Opened this a couple of days ago. Time to drink the rest...
Fonta Flora collaboration with Perennial
STLTL - Blend (4 different barrels) of bourbon barrel-aged Imperial Stouts aged on Videri cocoa nibs, house-toasted hazelnuts and vanilla.
Finishing up the balusters on the back deck and quenching my thirst with a Dry Hop'd Zwickl..
Another easy drinker on this warm and humid day.
Finishing up the last of my Saison Dupont. Opened a new to me Single Malt, a peaty Islay, Bowmore. This is excellent.
Probably, at least another pour of this wonderful Scotch tonight, and that will be it. Mingus, Tijuana Moods as my outro.
No, it's not a Stone IPA.
It's a PA T-IPA.
That's a happy grill. Hamms. Cheers!
We’re home from dinner at a fovorite sushi place. It’s still 98 degrees on the deck. I better not let this WCIPA get too warm. Cheers!
Been a long day. I need this beer and a few more. Daughter’s baby shower was today. Over 5 hours long counting set up and cleanup. Daughter had college friends from all over the east coast. We had family from Richmond, NC, and PA. Going to be a long day again tomorrow in that a bunch of we older folks are getting together for the afternoon and wife and I are taking some relatives out for dinner. I may whine about how tired I am but the real work was done by wife and oldest daughter.
Lunch. An IPA brewed by Maine Beer Company.
What the hell, let's have another. Twice The Daily Serving, a Berliner Weisse (Tropical Punch) from Trillium. Compliments of @WunderLlama in BIF 15. Notes over in the NBW thread. Great beer. Cheers!
Nice glass! I had that one in CT, but I have no idea what happened to it. Probably ended up at one of the neighbors. Cheers!
Thank you! Was supposed to be in the 90’s, but I think it’s just high 80’s. Humid, but not unbearable. Good breeze. Great day considering it started with thunderstorms and reports of tornadoes nearby.
A little blueberry lemon glazed donut. The flavors on these donut beers from Pigeon Hill are impeccable. I really don’t know how they do if. Cheers fellas.
2007 DFH Olde School, cheers!
After this triple IPA from ORB, Gravity Games, I'm not going to be very coherent.
So I'll do the data geek analysis now.
16 oz serving.
That's like three servings of old school German white wine or something.
More details in the NBW feed.
Ouch und Prost!
Cheers! Welcome back stateside, @Beersnake1 - hope that trip was at least as fun as it looked to us here on BA. Injury free still, holding up to 60-70 mile weeks (Krissy Moehl's plans are fanatically insane) and hoping to stay that way...
Thanks, buddy! Yes, the trip was fantastic. I would be lying if I said it was always perfect (traveling with 3 kids), but the memories will always be positive. So many great places, and of course the beer was wonderful. Glad to hear the training is going well. I have to start ramping things up for some fall races!
Here's a rarity for me, and a beautiful looking beer to boot.
Wow! How is that? I haven't had for a while, and definitely not with that amount of age on it.
Poor planning on my part. The only beer left in the house (other than a few stouts saved in a cool cellar for colder days) are three of these session IPAs and four DB Vienna Lagers. No more real IPAs! I will probably survive the night.
OEC Brewing (Ordinem Ecentrici Coctores) -- Dapple
Dark mild ale
ABV: 4.2%; pouring temperature: 41 °F; canning data: n/a
...worked another six hours today, got paid another $150 cash...don't like working per se, but love my beer money...
Hilo Brewing - Mauna Kea Pale Ale
Kicking off the night with this Destihl Margarita Gose. This is a refreshing start after another stupid hot summer day.
Imperial Oak kolsch and mushroom caps prepped and ready.
Not too many folks would disagree with that hourly rate. Although I am retired and am not desperately in need of supplemental income, I would do the work especially at that pay scale. Hell, I might even upgrade from Maker’s Mark!
I know Kimmich said that this is not intended to be the biggest or most bitter. Listen... this beer is like shoving a handful of hops down your throat and waiting for the reaction. For me, it was love at first sip. There is nothing better, and I'm on record saying this. Looking forward to baking in 100 degree temps tomorrow, as projected. We'll see. Much love, and peace...
Tangled Roots Devil’s Paintbox IPAs tonight with ribeye steaks, bacon cheddar twice baked potatoes, fresh sweet Corn on the cob tonight. Waiting for these thunderstorms to pass. Cheers!!
What do you got there? @VABA
Equlibrium/Black Stack collaboration: “Stacked Science “ DIPA.
I was too lazy to show off my DB paraphernalia.
But here it is anyway. Picture from Wednesday night.
I really hope my wife cuts me off after that last beer... I'm a cheap date after a TIPA these days.
