Trying to make this latest stash last, but it's really hard. People have said this beer has become slightly more weedy/dank, and I think I agree, but that's totally in my sweet spot, so I welcome it completely.

Soon, coconut shrimp will be cooking in the air fryer. Until then, I would be happy to report I am having another beer but that would be a lie. Opened a bottle of wine instead.

If I have a beer with shrimp, I will post a pic. If not, I will keep a low profile.

Since this is not a picture post I can ask for an opinion about something not related. Here goes:

My sister and I each have a granddaughter about the same age. Both kids love the Elsa thing (don’t ask me, some kind of kid characters). Anyway. my granddaughter and her friend went to see Elsa. I thought my sister would be cool to see it and would share it with her granddaughter. I texted it to her with a picture of my granddaughter so excited to tell her grandmother (my wife) that she saw Elsa!

Well, the background of my post showed my wife’s sister-in-law wearing a mask at my other daughters baby shower. Her sister-in-law just got over Covid and thought she should wear a mask to attend the baby shower. Of 20 folks she and her husband were the only ones wearing a mask. I had no problem with it.

To my surprise, my sister did not give a hoot about Elsa or my granddaughter’s excitement but focused in on the lady wearing a mask. So done with masks she said. Time to move to Florida.

My guess is very few folks will read this and I should be happy about that.

I have just four stouts in my idea of a cellar but you have convinced me to open them all once cooler weather descends in Richmond.

My take away was when you said outside shot. Does that mean you would approve of my partaking of a Makers Mark shot?

About to watch another episode of The Bear.

Completely coincidentally having a Chicago beer. This one started out really good, but was a bit too malty as it warmed. Perhaps I’m drinking it too slow. But to be clear, a pretty good beer.

Speaking of Chicago, this one deserves to be turned up. And then turned up a little bit more while you walk around Wicker Park.

Apparently the pest was introduced into the US from China. Most likely shipping containers or lumber/wood. Its been spreading aggressively from West to East.

Its good, not that I would know, but people in the restaurant industry, that I know, say its pretty close to back of the house craziness. Individual show lengths are only about 30 minutes, sometimes less. So they pack in lots of stuff, and it never over stays its welcome like a lot of newer shows tend to, at least IMO.

...if I recall correctly, you mentioned this beer when I tried and was looking forward to trying it. Just goes to show how different batches of beer, especially wild / sour beers can differ...I'll bet you would have enjoyed Batch #3...

That Greater Good Summer ale was pretty good but I can't do another 16 oz beer ...or I don't want another 16 oz beer.
