Dark copper body, clear; respectable carbonation; thin, frothy off-white head, lasting. Outstanding toasted grain aroma; roasted nuts. Nice, toasted caramel flavor; rich and malty; light spiciness; mild to moderate hop bitterness; clean. Medium body; gently coats the palate with an earthy sweetness.
This is a spot-on altbier. My kind of brown ale, old world-style.
Pils German style pilsner - OEC Brewing
Love me some Yeti, great "session" imperial stout.
Having another Perpetual straight from the can while watching the Yankees game. Can't complain. Peace...
While not my fave sour by a long shot, I was surprised and delighted to have found this in the bowels of the fridge. Haven't had a sour in a long while and this is hitting the spot!
Modestman - Colors (Rapberry + Passion Fruit version)
Cheers to WBAYDN (although I don't consider this a beer)!
Afternoon off ,starting light with lightforce
Fox Farm - Gather
...Mrs. BeerGoot, who had never been east of the Mississippi River before she met me, has always wanted to visit France...since we've renewed our (never used) passports, one of these days...
It's Wednesday, WBAYDN! Cheers!
Geriatric Kittens Takes Miami Beach ~ Fat Orange Cat
Miami Vice Theme ~ Jan Hammer
Thanks Mike! Didn't want to short change the beer for my NBW. Considered that relatively new one as well (Little Whaleboat), but prefer the traditional pine / grapefruit IPAs, onion as well.
I have a new West Coast Pale Ale Collaboration (Mason Ale Works and Lugana Beach - Societal Good) I'll crack open Saturday morning instead. The hop profile is old school (Centennial, Citra and El Dorado) but it's 100% "Incognito Hops" which are concentrated hop extracts that some breweries are using these days. Want to see if I note flavor and feel differences with a traditionally hoped beer using those hops.
Thanks again Mike!
You are welcome. I just got back from the bottle shop and picked up a few Maine Beer Company IPAs and pale ales. One IPA (Thank You 2022) was bottled May 31 so I will see if it held up well.
A hazy and hoppy Keller pils from Crooked stave
I'm confused...no I'm not, it's Miller time at Shuckers Oyster Bar.....
This fuckin thing is all malt. I can't stand it when it's labeled west coast and its all malt literally zero hop bitterness. I haven't had a single enjoyable beer from this brewery. Won't be purchasing another for now.
Cryo smash DIPA 8.6% - Three Nations Brewing Co
This is actually pretty terrible idk if I'll be finishing it tbh. It's down to the alcohol content and why I'd drink that. This beer fuckin sucks.
Hooking up the new washing machine and having a quick one
I went for a drive in Wisconsins kettle moraine country this am, crested a hill and lo and behold, road debris, swerved to avoid it, but didnt, 4" slit in the tire. I got the tire off, but couldn't raise the car high enough for the spare. Car slipped, came off the jack. Some nice farmer with a tractor came by and was able to lift it. I gave the guy all I had $150. I'm 72 and I don't remember my last flat tire.
Bought this yesterday, this was pretty good but it wont replace Torpedo!
....enjoy what's in yer glass.......

That's glorious, and soothing. Much love!
Got my first attempt at a family recipe baking in the oven. Dad called it "green rice."
Yeah I definitely poured out that last IPA bullshit i had in my glass. I replaced it with a real IPA.
Yellow Rose IPA - Lone Pint Brewery
...ah, christ on a pogo stick -- this is getting sappy....I need a beer and a shower....
Hey not a bad resolution... when Superman (as a young child) is not around to do the lifting!
Someone left these in the fridge. I do not like it, but gave it a shot.
Cannot fathom why they would take an already-light beer (High Life is only @4.7%) and try to make a "Lite"-er version. Same applies for all the "light" versions of macros IMO sacrificing whatever qualities of the regular version for the sake of a few calories.
Life and Fate XI from Root + Branch. So terrific. The hops are in your face, as per the norm, but this iteration is supremely balanced w/ a soft, coating finish. I love it. Cheers.
Somehow you could sense spring more vividly in this cool forest than on the sunlit plain, and there was a deeper sadness in this silence than in the silence of autumn. In it you could hear both a lament for the dead and the furious joy of life itself.
I was thinking about my man Daryl the other day. My mom turned me on to this music when I was a kid. I have posted their works many times over the years, albeit not recently. This one is to you, Daryl. I love you. I love you, too, John! Peace...

Boulevard Space Camper Red Spectra
Pride while grilling some pork chops.
Tree House - Seaside Pils
Well, I've always said I'll try anything twice...
... and this Fine Pilsner was less bad haha.
Nothing fancy in the food dept this evening. Only posting these because I'm proud of my best friend. He's been in the food world forever and recently managed to develop his own line of wing products. He lawyer-ed up to secure trademark, logo, and branding. I just cooked off a few samples of his raw, pre-marinated cajun and (way too) mild buffalo. They really are tasty and quality. The pre-cooked breaded drumsticks are ridiculously good and the best of his line tho IMO, so glad I don't have any more on hand to stuff my fat gut further! Can't mention brand yet as it's still being sold to distro and not yet at retail or in restaurants. Great side-line of income for him, and completely above-board with & via his employer. One day he shall build me a guest house! I've also requested that my guest house comes with its own guest house. I like to entertain.
Drekker What So Proudly We Prrrt Rocket Pop Sour, 6.5% ABV. Pours thick, murky, and blood red, with a 1.5 finger pink head that left puree residue. Nose is a fruit mashup, though cherry throws shade. Taste is cherry, raspberry, blueberry, pineapple and lime, moderately sweet, equally tart. Decent thick mouthfeel, overall excellent.

Home a tad earlier than normal, husking some corn, and enjoying this gem while listening to some tunes. Cheers all.
