Been there a few times, what brings you to Abilene, other than Eisenhower?

 

Got the last 6pk at The Repository of Old Beer (that shall go unnamed), along with the last pack of Spencer Stout . Told the owner "Thanks for the antiques. " , as he never changes prices after the initial arrival. He is usually aware of those things, & is of the opinion "Stouts don't go bad." Now if we can get him to realize IPAs do go bad.......
(& there might be some porter . I'll look next time) )

Dated 3/12/20, a year younger than the ones I finished a couple weeks ago. Maybe there's still some out there somewhere, at a could-care-less distributor, as this was absent for a few months this year?

 

That was a good tune, been a long time Grant Green fan, very underrated player imho. This is one of my favorite Grant Green tunes ...

Murky hazy straw colored pour with a 2 finger white head. The retention is good, and there's a bit of lacing on the glass. There's a decent amount of pineapple on the nose.
Taste - is very citrusy. There's pineapple that is the main flavor. There's some grapefruit that also sneaks in the mix.
The body does seem a bit light for the ABV, but not watery.
Interesting beer. Maybe a bit off what it should be, but not bad.
