Celebration served properly
Going another round with another Sip of Sunshine.
A feast for the eyes if I do say ...
Black Maple, Bourbon barrel aged porter by Jackie O's. Cheers!
Good evening beer advocates. A long 9.5 hour day at work but that’s okay, I get the next three days off. Tonight I am trying a new Emancipation Brewing Company brew out of Fairbury, Illinois, 3rd Street Hoppy Wheat Ale brewed in collaboration with Dave’s Super Market. 5.3%ABV. It tastes great 4.5 out of 5 in my book. I made Texas trash drip and a homemade garlic bread for some beer snacks while watching Monday Night Football. Cheers everyone!!!
Looks good, forbid my ignorance but I have to ask, what is a "Texas trash drip"?
7 Saws VII - an excellent local brewery, they're doing good things. Also a few good bong hits of some excellent flower with a little Indica Moonrocks.
Screw it - shameless repost because I Iike this song. First tune I had horns in, although subtle.
One more work day then off for 5. Waiting patiently with a Krombacher Pils. Cheers!
I didn’t use fat free refried beans but this is the recipe. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes. First time making it, it looks great. It’s basically a bean dip with a ton of cheese lol.
Cool - thanks for the recipe, sounds pretty good! Needs a few jalapenos in there
From the Pig, to the DDH Breakside, to the King of west coast doubles.
My oldest cat's impending death will not stop me from drinking good beer... in his name.
UTI, heart murmur, kidney issues, be a miracle if Chuy survives the week. As someone with no hooman children, this is as close as it gets for me, and he's been around for more than a third of my life.
Give me this...
But cheers y salud. He's had a 19 year run, and that's amazing.
Having a Taddy Daddy next BA
I love you guys. I think I'll have another Pliny. Peace...
Michael and Quincy were Magic in the stuido.
...best wishes for you feline child...it's tough...I understand...and if I may suggest, check out White Whiskers if a home scenario for his final time is what you're looking at...
Thanks, Dave, thankfully we have a great vet who's also a friend willing to do this - when it comes to it - not sure on timing, but man I haven't cried this much since I lost my G'mom back in the late 90s. And that's sayin something. Appreciate the reference.
Yeah, the Elder. My man.
Sorry to hear about your cat. I went through it last spring and I stilt miss the little guy. Wishing you the best.
Thanks, lots of people won't really get it, but he is just the best. Came when called to, fetched, would obey instructions, loved all food no matter what, got along with his adopted "brother" for as long as Omar lived (R.I.P. 2013) and still will immediately get on my lap as soon as my lazy ass hits the couch. Difficult but I appreciate it man!
Our Addie made it 19 years. What a blessing she was to our lives. Cheers to your kitty and may she rest in peace when the time comes.
...in the last several days, I seem to be out of step with @TheIPAHunter, @eppCOS, and @RaulMondesi with sharing the same Russian River Brewing beers with them, but this one goes out to them for a variety of reasons...
Russian River Brewing Co. -- Blind Pig

...the flowers in the vase are the remains of a much larger bouquet Mrs. BeerGoot got wired to her from Bellville, OH nearly three weeks ago...
Its been a long dayIcarus my little friend
Nah, no one here is out of step. Cheers, Dave! I appreciate it....
...Dr. Robert from WW did such an incredible job when Rocket the Wonder Dog's time came - spent nearly 2 1/2 hours with the three of us - no cold, clinical, 'let's get this done' attitude- and Rocket was as calm as could be...WW were last on our list (never heard of them prior to this) but were able to come out that very morning...glad you have a vet friend to help during this time...and I understand the tears...my personal take on why putting down our pets is harder for a lot of us is that we're present at their death (plus we're the ones that decide the time for them) where many of us don't get that chance with our human family...our best wishes to you and yours...
...'out of sync' would have been the better choice of words...
Central Waters Brewers Reserve Barrel Aged Barleywine. This was the very first Central Waters beer I ever tried. Drank two 12oz bottles after not eating much and working a long day on a Saturday. Came home after everyone else had gone to bed, turned on Mad Men, and straight to the dome – got absolutely rocked. Ahh, beer memories!
Going to continue rewatching Season One of Yellowstone while I wait for the wife to come home from out of town and we can watch the new episodes.
Wizard yes for sure, but the stouts always leave personally wanting more. Quality and price they always deliver.
This one always impresses me.
4 Noses - Perfect Drift pilsner with a chicken pita and fries for my first dinner. But I'm still hungry so I'm going to make some more food here soon.
The decision may lay heavy on the heart, but once there is suffering then there is only one decision. We loved our cat too much to let it suffer.
I feel you. It’s our privilege and burden to have a pet. Unconditional love going both ways! Peace to you and your wife.
Racer 5 needs a tune up BA
Just not the great WCIPA it used to be
Early in my craft beer journey, Imperial Biscotti Break was a favorite, in a way. Little has changed.
Certainly a late night cap for me. Cheers and good night, BAs!
Fresh scallop, pan seared.
White fuckin’ wine on the beach…@vabeerguy
Don’t worry BA I’ve transitioned to beer…!
Imperial Trop Haze? Yes, yes indeed.
Roughhouse Sordid Nature dark saison - one of my favorite Texas Hill Country beers!
