Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
It's time to celebrate. Cheers!
New Belgium - Voodoo Ranger Hop Raider IPA (can).. Happy Thanksgiving!
Lost Lager from Brewdog.
Looks like your "old man" had good taste in glassware!
Have a great day with family and friends.
Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours. Today I give thanks to the Earth, birds, trees, soils, and air. That's what I'm grateful for.
Oh, and cats. CATS. Ha.
Waking up a bit after a very windy 8 mile ez trail run - pretty dead out on the main trail near me, just how I like it.
Telluride's Ski In Ski Stout coffee stout. Great low ABV winter stout.
Happy Thanksgiving BA's
Doing some cleaning and de-cluttering before my daughter and her fiance come later this afternoon for dinner.....this is tasting mighty fine!
Many thanks and cheers D!
Not a self portrait but thanks to you too!
Thanks! It’s not Clark Gable but sort of similar. Gone with the wind reference fully noted.
Cheers and happy thanksgiving Americans brethren!
Omg,,,, very well. Now, what category is Teddy entered in the National Dog Show,, most loveable? Sure my crowd will enjoy it when I turn the channel from the Bills game to the NDS to watch Teddy mow the lawn with a bucket hat on!
Watching the Dog Show and drinking another local IPA, Bury Me in Strata:
Rooting for the Otter Hound. Have a great day y’all!
Home brewed Imperial Red Ale from my second favorite swing top bottle.
Von Trapp used to have these at the original brewery.
Splitting a few after morning bloodies. Happy Thanksgiving, all!
Hello seekers! Thank you @Shanex for 3687 and I wish you a wonderful day. I'm feeling great after two nights of hard drumming. Drums pummeled, pockets filled. Decided to start this holiday with Kostritzer Schwartzbier. A little bit German-sounding isn't it? Quite light bodied and not sweet at all. Near the very end of Michael Jackson's Beer Companion, Black Beer and this one in particular has an interesting history. I can see why some folks would add a little sugar to their pour. Would also be awesome to go to Japan seeking their Black Beers. Cheers! and Happy Thanksgiving!
Pre-turkey snax: roasted chick peas w parmesan, garlic, a dusting of roasted/smoked ghost pepper, sea salt, olive oil, paprika. Completely addictive and fantastic with the Schwartzbier.
Triple Bottom - Ambrite
Starting my drinking day with a nice 4% polotmavy from a new to me Philly brewery.
Mother-in-law brought champagne. I'm drinking this
Celebrating. Cheers all!
2 Kostritzer posts in a row!! How cool! Cheers!
Keep the channel on the pup show. Nothing to see in the D
So stoked to find this out here in Indiana!
Happy Thanksgiving, VB! Hope everyone has a blessed day with family and/or friends and enjoy what's in your glass!
NBW cross-post. Thank you, @beergoot! @miwestcoaster, I celebrated Thanksgiving with my father, a Minnesota Vikings fan from southwestern Minnesota, last weekend, knowing the Minnesota Vikings are going to ruin his day today. The trauma of seeing what a football team is capable of doing to their fans as a child made me a Green Bay Packers fan. Skol!
Turkey almost done. My house smells phenomenal
Happy Thanksgiving, BA!
Opening up Weldwerk’s collab with Side Projext today. BA stout with Vanilla, Maple, and Cinnamon. Good balance on this. Vanilla & cinnamon on the nose, w/ the palate bringing very subtle maple sweetness to balance out the spiced undertones. Barrel more noticeable w/ time in the glass; caramel & oak. Finishes smooth & mildly boozy. Happy Thanksgiving!
Happy turkey day ba. A tad later start than I intended but here we go. Baby beer hitting the spot. 2/15/22,
This one to start.
Hanssens - Lambic Experimental Raspberry
This is sharp, acidic, and delicious.
Holiday weekend YAY
Starting off with a Boon Oude Geuze Black Label #6. Which is excellent, as should be expected from the excellent brewery that is Boon. Review over at the NBW thread.
Pairing it with some funky Stilton, and found some Scottish Cheddar as well...didn't know I could get such a thing ha. Anyway, my Uncle always brought funky cheese to all out holiday parties, still does. I think he was having some fun with all the kids when I was growing up, just to see our faces when we took some, but joke was on him as I loved it, then proceeded to eat his expensive funky cheese for the rest of the nigh ha. Though I am by myself this weekend as my family is up in Illinois. I'll be on a long Christmas vacation later with them. So, I'll be mostly reading, listening to music and posting here with you fine folk.
Total Apocalypse of the Heart II
Root + Branch Brewing
Happy Thanksgiving, everyone! Dinner's under control. We're watching UNC with our daughter and soon-to-be son-in-law. Cheers!
Are the two of you like, spending Thanksgiving together or something? (What are the odds of that beer being posted back to back?!)
Oooooo that sounds like a delicious pairing!
I've had the Köstritzer a few times at Epcot during one of the fests they have their. You getting any smokiness on that one? I kinda liked the way it's dry and not sweet.
I think thats the best picture of Hamm's I have ever seen
Kolsch time! Texas got some good ones!
It is remarkable. Dog gone good beer as well!
Our session is underway with my brother.
