Happy Thanksgiving BA!
Petal and Athena have had a good walk and say hello!
Taking a pre-dinner nap… smart dogs.
Having some charcuterie and watching some football.
Figured I would pop this bad boy in the mean time.
palate cleanser / refresher. hope everyone’s day is swell. cheers!
It got super dark all the sudden, its been raining all day, but bigger storms are rolling in.
Great Heights Lothar German Pils. An excellent example of the style.
Spinning one of my favorite Townes albums. Out Mother The Mountain.
Holy lord is this tasty.
A Port City Derecho Common (though I learned this year they’ve marketed away from that term):
With a photo bomb from my nephew’s foot, watching the first NFL game of the day. Got some bottle shares lined up for later.
Hope y’all are sharing the love (of beer or otherwise) today. Cheers!’
Excellent beer there. Have you been to Michigan lately? Cheers
Having another beer because why not? Cheers.
...how's that beer? always wanted to try it, haven't gotten around to getting my hands on one.
You and me both. My kids love him now, so at least I’ve done one good thing as a parent.
This morning Founders Breakfast Stout with an arugula, tomato, ham and Gouda cheese omelet! Having a Fass Brewing Old Town altbier with some appetizers as I type.
Happy Thanksgiving to all y’all!
My people don't celebrate todays "holiday" so for the most part hanging out at the park feeding squirrels
Enegren 11th Anniversary
No beer yet (although that will be made right a little bit later, of course), but I just wanted to take a moment to let you guys know that I appreciate all of you! I love the community we have here on BA: The wealth of information and insight, the camaraderie and banter, and I would be remiss if I'd didn't mention my gratefulness for the well-executed emotional sunset pics . A big thanks to @Todd for making it all possible!
Bottom line: You guys rock and hope everyone has an outstanding Thanksgiving! Will be report back with beer soon- Cheers
hope you’re having a good day! no imperial stouts yet??
NBW cross-post. It is time for my favorite part of every Thanksgiving. The viewing of the greatest motion picture ever created.
NightJump. Aviator Brewing Company. Russian Imperial Bourbon Barrel.

Celebration in a stein
Happy Thanksgiving, Advocates! Got my Turkey Day half marathon finished, and I'm now sipping on this Reality Czeck Pils from Moonlight Brewing in Santa Rosa. @RaulMondesi - isn't this the beer you had at your wedding? Great beer! Enjoy the day with family and friends!
My humble plate. No cranberry action this yr. Just loads & loads of Irish butter and this exquisite and absolutely electrifying beer: The Duck Rabbit Baltic Porter. Smoke, dark chocolate, wood, a hint of tannins, dark fruits...a sipper with many deep levels and a lot of territory.. From a 6pk I purchased back in June. Cheers all!
That sounds like an awesome omelet
I never replied to the pumpkin* beer thread, but for what it’s worth I love pumpkin pie, love cranberry, and when it comes to holiday meals, Thanksgiving is my favorite. In fact, back in college I worked at a shopping mall food court vendor called “Talkin’ Turkey” (imagine if you will, all-scratch dressing and cranberry sauce, pumpkin pies, and whole turkeys prepared in a fast-casual setting).
It should come as no surprise that I enjoyed BlackStack’s “Straight From The Can”:
Lightly salty and lightly spiced, but with full on cranberry flavor. A good body and good carbonation, too. And for the murk-lovers, it is as murky as it gets:
*For after dinner I’ll crack my last bottle of Southern Tier’s Pumking.
The smells of the smoked Turkey off the Egg are amazing, as is the taste of this.
My Turkey breast is brining…I’ll have another Savage “Galaxy Banger” before I totally switch over to wine as I get dinner cooked/ready:
Mrs. Z is napping on the sofa…Lilly and I are enjoying the warm, cloudy afternoon on the back deck as I call my younger siblings…3 down, one out in Idaho to go…Cheers gang!
I am thankful that SN still brews Celebration. Not a pumpkin beer fan so with the Celebration spices this is a perfect beer for today.
Surprised nobody has posted this yet...THE only Thanksgiving song ha.
With a Saint Arnold Christmas Ale in the glass.
And the album is more than just one satire, social commentary song around a holiday. The second half is excellent folk as well.
Gimme' an "R" ... I mean, "Ar" !!
Once again: Happy TG, VB! ... Is it Friday yet? !!
Held up well! Drinking excellent! When I get back home let me check I think I have another bottle sitting, I’ll gladly send you it if I do.
Having a favorite Brown Ale on a favorite holiday. Happy Thanksgiving!
Rainshadow, schwarzbier from Single Hill. Really good
…dang! happy turkey day to me!
A little pre dinner dessert.
When in FL, nothing wrong with some Thanksgiving Jai Alai.
Merry Thanksgiving to all of you!
Finally the first celebration of the season.
Really have to rethink my no celebration ale till Thanksgiving tradition next year
I’m leaving Saturday heading back, so I’ll check and make sure I do lol.
