Thanksgiving was a winner. Prepped fo 500 for the restaurant, and made their jobs easy. Came home made dinner for the fam. Watched some football. Drank some brews...

Southern Tier was doing some barrel aged versions of things in years past that I thought were quite good. They seem to have gotten away from that, probably in favor of the whiskey line, and their beers have gone kind of middling and cloying IMO. Sad.

Five days off commandeered by younger adult son in the hospital. Drinking many beers. Tonight was an 8 Wired affogatto stout (decent), an Omnipollo Dadalous (tasted not as good as the previous time…maybe too cold), now a Founders KBS Mackinac Fudge (heavy handed winner). Still haven’t fallen down. Might find one more to seal the deal.

 

I actually put that together the day before thw show..
Why I have that piece of paper clipped to the mic stand- just to remember the lyrics. Thats the hardest thing for me. I know hundreds of songs I just cant remember the lyrics

Southern Tier Beers aren't what they used to be for sure but this is the best pumking I have had in at least 10 years. Also pumking and warlock tend to be consistently good.

Well my friend I still have one left.
Since the madman that sent this outrageously tasty package is asking Pliny of course I will oblige. As a gourmand of IPAs ( as you are Dane) I am at my highest level of enjoyment when I crack this epitome of IPAs. Only one regret: youre not here to share it with me.

Good evening, all! Grillin' up some chicken wings and drinkin' a New Glarus Raspberry Tart out of a #proper Zwanze 2018 goblet. These pair amazingly well. I marinated the wings in a Texas-style BBQ rub mixed with a commercial spice blend called Farm Dust. The result was savory and spicy, not too sweet or overpowering. It really allowed the flavor of the beer to come through. The beer is worthy of this $85 glass, which has held some of the world's finest lambics.

No prob man. I just had my son and his fiancé over for TG. Hes a lawyer now living in Brooklyn but unfortunately he inherited my hairline and worse my affinity towards depression. You cant still seemingly "have it all" that doesnt mean shit. Theres value in so many things in life beside money. Paper dont mean shit when you're dead. But people remember the relationships and the "different things" my apolgies Im getting buzzed. No lecture here just spewing

 

It's looking like an Eagles game to me (so far).

 

Id love the Eagles to lose as a Giants fan but it aint happening..
