Trying out my new glass from Universal. Cheers all it is Friday.

 

I had it years ago and liked it so bought a six pack. My taste buds must have changed because while it is ok, I probably would not buy a six pack again for a long time.

 

I was never a big fan of Leffe so I get it. I just remember thinking to myself don't buy this again but I forgot my exact reasoning at the time.

 

Safely back home with a Jai Alai as Taco Friday (???) food prep is underway.

Mass-produced AB/InBev Belgian mediocracy!

 

Up there for one of my favorite helles lagers when I can get them relatively fresh. At 7.99 a 4 pack, it’s tough to pass up. Cheers all and happy Friday.

 

This Augie Carton, he makes some good shit. Cyrrently cruising on 077xx. Was in Jersey today, but couldn't locate any Regular Coffee. My new obsession. I can taste it in my mind.

1) Drekker Make it Spooky (8.0% canned 10/3/22): A NEIPA from North Dakota with Hallertau Blanc, Belma & Citra for flavors of melon, ripe cantaloupe, stone fruit & candied lemon.
versus
2) Drekker Neon Phenom (8.4% canned 9/28/22): A NEIPA from North Dakota with Strata, Vic Secret, and Huell Melon for flavors of tart grapefruit and mango with some strawberry, and grape notes underneath. (mismatched both blind)

Winner:

1) Drekker Make it Spooky: Better on my second try with nice sweet lemon flavors. Neon Phenom had more tart grapefruit and vinous from the Strata and Vic Secret. Well last time I picked Neon Phenom as the winner and I couldn't even identify them correctly blind tonight. Heck I don't know, but a lot of these Drekkers start to taste the same.
