cheers. I like this stuff!
New Holland Black Hatter Black IPA, yet another first:
It's not Dubhe, but it's tasty and it's making room in the beer fridge for a killer a box from pagesofphotographs! I'm gonna tap that box tomorrow. What a great way to start a vacation! Cheers all!
For sure! I love BCBS and variants. I wasn't planning on opening the Merveilleux, but it was given to me by a friend that I was visiting in NYC. I wanted her to try it because we wouldn't have a chance later. Of course, she couldn't even get past the smell...Hahahaha...
My new World Series beer.
Not a bad beer. Really starting to like this style when I'm looking for something different.
This is a nice surprise....very tasty.
I he is. He is I. I is he...
I loved the Merveilleux, but I knew that my girlfriend wouldn't, so I didn't even offer her a sip. She ended up smelling it and knew the deal.
my last double dose.
fucking great. even better than dirtwolf (and however overrated you think dirtwolf is, i think it's even better than whoever you think raved too much about it thinks... or at least i probably do).
Came home to carve some pumpkins with the wife. Been puttin it off and decided today was the day!
Enjoyed a Founders Harvest while I got my stuff together.
Then moved to some Westbrooke Citrus Ninja, while we got to carvin! Fantastic beer, should seek it out if you love a grapefruity DIPA!
Then finished it up, ate some dinner with the said Citrus Ninja..
Moved to some FBS after dinner while I roast the pumpkin seeds with some montreal seasoning and brown sugar for a snack later, and here's the final product!
Wow . . . major pumpkin carving skills!! That is just awesome!
This beer is beyond legit, Brandy Barrel Aged Imperial Pumpkin
Ballast Point Big Eye IPA
Wow, that sounds so good.... Why the hell can't I find any barrel aged pumpkin stuff?!
Haha, thanks! I haven't carved one in like.... a million years. Infact, I hate Halloween. Moved into a new neighborhood that is pretty much a mecca for trick or treaters, so decided this year, since I own a home here, I need to give out candy, do the whole Halloween thing, and my 1 year old nephew is coming over. My twins aren't old enough to go out yet, but I figure I have kids this year, so may as well not be scrooge.
My first Bitches Brew 2013- May excellente! All 750ml happy down and not even pissed about the $18.00 price tag

I quite like the Mother's O'fest & how it's drinking this year...
Bell's Expedition Stout, bottled on 10/22/2012. Sorry no picture.
It tastes great fresh but it tastes amazing with a year on it.
I need to find my best of CD, Triumph rocks!
The dogs have abandoned me for the night. The Sox have not..
Hermitage Calypso Single Hop IPA with a Founders Breakfast on deck. Keep it going Sox!
Okay, I'm not done.. just a little snifter though!
Homebrewed beer alert!
Huge RIS aged on 15 year old Pappy Van Winkle 15 yr Bourbon oak. 12.5%, and I'm OUT for the night!
Yes they do! And they never get enough respect with the hard rock crowd . . .
I saw them in 1985 at the Rosemont Horizon. Great laser show, ahead of its time.
They got sucked into video production stuff that was classic MTV silliness, but they could bring it to be sure!
Shipyard Smashed Pumpkin
Black Butte XXIII
(side note... also tried a mix of the SS Pumpkin and BB XXIII and it was pretty good... sweetness of BB really went well with all the spices and pumpkin seed flavors in SS'd)
Any more when I get it fresh, I drink one to see what's up & bury the rest deep in the cellar.
Second Märzen of the night, and probably the last of the year. Cheers!
Two of my favorite Black IPAs but it was really no contest. Mountain Standard is by far my favorite.
Trying MOA Breakfast for the first time.
There is nothing bad about this but there is nothing that makes I me want to try it again
