Nice to see ATG beers on here, been a while since I've seen them and even longer since I've had anything from them.

 

Grilling steak and enjoying a themed beer while we are still taking Christmas stuff down. A lot of extra things going on this year, so I’m hoping we finish the dismantle by February.

I put on a YouTube mix of my favorite band (OK, other than the Beatles) while putting stuff away today. I swear, I have never heard this song before.

Jughandle Brewing - Without Limits '22

This is a California Common (even though the label calls it a Jersey Common, haha). Complex and delicious.

 

Grabbed me a dog and some chips for supper with a Clown Shoes Rainbows Are Real. It's a pretty good hazy IPA but doesn't have the depth or feel and taste that the great ones do.

The music scene just got real with this song.....

My night cap for this evening. Abbaye De Saint Bon Chien, 2019 bottle, 11% ABV. Looks a bit murky, with just a touch of oxidation, but overall this is a tart chocolate covered cherry treat , with a peppery spice, light oak, even vinous, and almost wine like as well

Goes well with Bill Evans. Behind the Dikes. Several live shows and radio broadcasts from the Netherlands in 1969.

Mortalis / Corporate Ladder collab: Critical Hit. BA imp stout aged in PVW barrels 17 months, conditioned on coconut, cacao nibs, vanilla, and granola. Delicious and decadent. Dark black color, no head, coconut floaters. Yes, I just realized that pic has an empty glass…whatever. I’m tired from my first “sweaty January” day as advised by @beergoot. I dug a trench out back to control some of the snow melt run off. More tiring than I thought. Look, I DO have medial deltoid muscles, after all. It’s been a while.

Great beer. Very smooth. One bottle committed to trade, three more on a shelf.
