I wasn’t going to buy any IPAs until warmer weather. Saw this at TJ’s and the canned on date is ten days ago. Pretty good.

Grilled halibut, baked potatoes, endive, stewed okra with tomatoes and parsnips roast with mace. This last dish is flambeéd. Can’t find any brandy so I might use Four Roses instead.

 

Good to hear. Married two daughters. Most went well.

Imo: you got the 50s rock and roll, the 60 pure pop perfection, Memphis comeback, & Vegas Years. I could rip at least 20 essential if not more songs from each era. Elvis was an extremely interesting person who was not formally educated but had magnetism, charisma, was a walking encyclopedia of songs…. Like The Beatles,
In fact I put him in a league with Frank Sinatra , Bob Dylan for the deep well of song knowledge. Elvis knew any song you threw at him.

I love the glass. Nice and thick — and dirt cheap, too, IIRC. The 2-Yr Cognac is good, but I greatly preferred the double barrel Cognac/Bourbon if I’m being honest.

 

Yeah, 10-0 at the Linc against them, must be comfy for them.

 

Another Heady Topper is in order.
