I know with the dead their catalog , and live recordings are a great trove to explore defined by specific players, eras, circumstance. To command that knowledge even as a fan is something. I'm enjoying sipping on Parallassein, an American Barleywine from Olde Hickory Brewery aged for 299 weeks in port wine barrels. Port, toffee, brown sugar, raisin, fig, earthy leather, and cigar. Really complex and delicious. I just reviewed it on the NBW thread. Cheers!
