    Hey all! Happy Friday!!!

    I'm getting in real early tonight because the footy season starts in 90 minutes and Geelong will be playing Collingwood in front of 90,000 screaming fans at the Melbourne Cricket Ground, and I'll be too invested to spend time with you good folk!

    Today has been a day of IT disasters, and as an operational guy with hundreds of staff in the field that really sucks, and so I desperately needed a beer. Luckily I have a few lying around, and this one from Germany came to the rescue.

    Figure on passing on the good news to @jzeilinger and other IU fans who have not heard the news that Upland Brewing is coming out with a Hoosier Gameday Lager, with a portion of sales going to IU scholarships. It's draft only at their taproom now, but look for this in distribution when football gets underway this August.

    Upland Brewing was founded in 1998, 11 years after the OG One Shining Moment, originally recorded for the Super Bowl, was unveiled in 1987 for a very special tournament and National Champion.



    Was there live in the Hoosier Dome when Princeton knocked out defending National Champion UCLA 27 years ago, during Pete Carril's 29th and final season with the Tigers.

    What's up y'all?

    Since I'm going out with some "meat world" beer friends, tonight, I thought I'd get my usual NA post this morning, just to say hey. Recovery day - if I can call it that. Body is feelin' better, hamstring is currently cooperating, but man mild strains take WEEKS if not months to really resolve themselves (especially after 50).

    Ok, whining over - well, apart from the taste of this All Out (below average) "stout." Still not my favorite but wanted to give it a repeat visit. If I had to score this out of 5, it's in the low 2s.

    Poured at 57°. Roasty bitterness. I like this variant better than OG and variants. Happy to see it in our Publix grocery stores coast to coast this past week. A fine lower abv substitute for my usual breakfast stouts…I’ll get more next trip to the store. Cheers and have a fun Friday y’all!

    Same here. I love this OG Guinness and it’s good as ever but as I mentioned in the March Madness thread and previously here, West Indies Porter or their Foreign extra Stout get my vote instead. It’s okay though, any Guinness has got to be enjoyed any day of the year.

    Happy Saint Patrick's Day BA's! Great posts kicking today off. We're going to grill burgers for lunch and use the same fire to cook Sockeye Salmon for dinner.     I remember watching the VFL back in the early 70s and enjoyed the hell out of it. (Rugby ruled NSW back then)

    During the 1980s, maybe into the 90s, I got to watch the AFL on ESPN.
