McDonalds in Agentina even serving wine? I'm lovin it
I've been to Argentina, but never to a Mc over there. All those wonderful restaurants with prime beef from charcoal grills ... Still something like a BigMac paired Malbec sounds awesome to me.
    Cheers

    1) Fair State Pilsner (5.1%): A German Pilsner from Minnesota with flavors of lemongrass, yeast, and dry flower. Bitter, floral, and crisp.
    versus
    2) Bad Weather Pils (4.9%): A German Pilsner from Minnesota with flavors of lemon citrus, bitter floral and grassy hops. A smooth bread malt. (Correctly matched the two beers blind)

    Winner:
    1) Fair State Pilsner:
Another battle of Minnesota Pilsners. Bad Weather has impressed me in the past with their Pils. Once again, very good. Lemon citrus and smooth bread malts. Moderately bitter to balance. Nicely done.
For whatever reason Fair State is drinking even better than usual today. Got it less than 6 months out and it's dangerously good.

Beautiful beer, definitely got to get down there someday soon!

After having an SNPA with a corned beef sandwhich in downtown Hendersonville today, on to round 2, enjoying a McChouffe, a nice Belgian Brown ale. Definitely would buy this again!
Listening to Outlandos D'Amour, the Police debut album 45 years ago...holy crap, where has the time gone?!
    Cheers!

    1) BlackStack White Owls (7.0% no canning date): A NEIPA from Minnesota with DDH Citra, El Dorado, Talus experimental 17701 for flavors of lemon/lime citrus, grape, green pineapple and melon.
    versus
    2) Phase 3 DDH Double Pixel Density (8.0% canned 4/14/23): A NEIPA from Chicago with DDH Citra cryo for flavors of orange citrus, tangerine, tropical pineapple, and cantaloupe melon. (Correctly matched the two beers blind)

    Winner:
    1) BlackStack White Owls:
A green DDH NEIPA battle. Have had Pixel Density a few times on here and it drinks well with orange cantaloupe and melon. Juicy and DDH, yet a smooth, creamy malt body. The one thing better than juicy IPA is a green and juicy IPA. The only thing green about Phase 3 was the can, but still great. White Owls is green from the Citra and Talus. Not for everyone, but I'm digging what BlackStack has been able to do with the green Talus flavors. Fantastic brew from BlackStack.

I know the area, the Goulburn Valley, and some very nice micro-climates and wineries. Speaking of living in the past, I'm a professional nostalgian. Here's a tune that I've loved since 1970 when I saw these guys at The Mosque in Richmond. In a group of my favorite artists.

I was 19 and playing basketball in college. I was in a particular and memorable heaven.

I have a nice collection of knives. The Gerber commando knife is cool, but I carry a very nice simple Swiss Army Knife.

Grabbed this 8 Days A Week American Adjunct Lager on the way out. A new one from Good Word. Tasted a sample before leaving and it showed promise. Lives up to it. Medium body, good head retention. Floral and bready on the nose. Spicy hop flavor. Did not overdo the corn, it's just sweet enough but has a nice balancing bitterness. Impressive AAL. It can't compete with big beer on price but head and shoulders above in every other category. Nice!
